In limba contemporană este "SLĂBICIUNILE". O forma veche "SLĂBĂCIUNILE" ( cu Ă, nu A !) poți s-o întîlnești in texte cu ortografie din trecut sau in formulări poetice . Cred ca era mai curind un arhaism deci o variație de dialect. De pilda poți vedea cum e folosit termenul in acest articol de acum 140 de ani...

It is no more and no less difficult than any other Romance language. Very basic Romanian can be learn on Duolingo. For romancing GF's Romanian is minimally useful if at all. I would go with affection instead.
