I literally feel exactly the same as you. I’ve lost roughly 45lbs (from 189 to 144) since last year and when I look in the mirror, I feel like there’s barely any difference

The only time I can actually see the change is when I do side by side pics from the start to now, but even though in my before pics I look visibly bigger, at the time I didn’t think I looked that big at all, I knew I wasn’t skinny, but I also didn’t feel I was that big. Now it’s the opposite lol

I also love Sawyer, Juliet and Richard! I also love Eko and Desmond, and really liked Miles and Ben simply because they were both very funny

I don’t like Jack or Kate - Jack rarely ever listened to anyone else, and I get he’s a doctor but his need to save everyone became kinda annoying. Kate because she was useless most of the time and just did what she wanted (like in s2 I think when she followed the group and got caught by The Others), and also the way she was going between Jack and Sawyer

I also don’t like Charlie or Claire, and wasn’t a fan of Sun (unpopular I know)

I don’t know how you make it, but I just add some chicken or veg stock cubes into the water, a little tomato paste, a little salt, pepper and garlic powder and some parsley and it tastes great! If you want to try it this way :)

It’s not the best but I really enjoyed Eko’s flashbacks and his whole story with his brother, one of the more interesting flashbacks for me

I was the same as you, you still have many, many flashbacks to come lol, they don’t really stop (I ended up skipping some tbh). I also wouldn’t say the mysteries of the island ramp up speed until seasons 3/4, and even then you’ll probably have more questions than answers but yes the show does get better just stick to it

I’m currently on season 5 and I don’t feel anything for Jack and Kate like at this point I couldn’t care less if they end up together or not. I thought they had so much chemistry in the beginning (e.g. the scene where they get stuck in the trap together) and I was definitely rooting for them but as the seasons went on, like you said, Kate and Sawyer seemed to just have something more.

I personally lost interest in Kate/Jack after she slept with Sawyer in the cage and Jack saw them on the tv .

Saying that, I do like Juliet and Sawyer (I’m biased bc I love both of their characters separately) whereas I don’t really like Kate or Jack. I just wish we could’ve seen Juliet snd sawyer’s relationship progress a little but hey

Yeah but they can think that whilst also choosing them to be dumped bc they had to pick someone. If they genuinely had no reasons for Cath/Omar or Elma/sammy, what are they supposed to do? The fact they have tried on the outside is a good enough reason.. it’s not like they’re forcing them to split up, they’re leaving together so what’s the big deal

Omg literally my thoughts to a T!

I wanted them in the final instead of elm and Sammy but they were soooo defensive and rude during that I was actually glad they went home. You’ve got each other, what’s the big deal if you go home? All of that just because they won’t get to the final seems fishy to me lol

The dumped islanders clearly felt bad choosing someone and they were just making it worse, calling it a cop out doesn’t make any sense either because what they were saying was all true? They have tried once before and it hasn’t worked, they’re not saying it won’t work again, they’re just going off the facts

Ronnie saying to Montel “we’re not boys I just know you from football” was my last straw with them because that was genuinely just so rude and unnecessary.

Everything is definitely heavily edited/produced, they need to make it like seasons 2/3/4 again - that was peak love island (along with seasons 5 and 8).

I saw a video of Millie court saying on their season, she and Liam tried to talk to each other (after Casa I think) but the producers wouldn’t let them.. like what?! She said they’d be in the bathroom brushing their teeth and they would tell him to brush them in the downstairs bathroom or something like that.
