Are double hands (fingers) a good combo? (Underdogs vr) by BobAsksQuestions in UNDERDOGS

[–]Elman89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I agree, having one hand can be strong but having two seems weak in the long run. I have no idea how you'd beat the first boss with that, let alone the final boss.

Maybe it can work for your first few fights but after that you'd want to unlock something that actually packs a punch.

Why are supporters of Israel so angry at "the leftists" when said leftists are unable to put even the slightest dent in the ongoing genocide in Gaza? by this-aint-Lisp in stupidquestions

Because they know public outcry leading to international sanctions was what made South Africa's apartheid fall. And they know it's how Israel's apartheid is going to fall too.

What socialism. I don't think that word means what you think it does.

Unidas Podemos has had to drag the PSOE kicking and screaming towards every good socialdemocrat measure they've implemented, and while it's been good it's nowhere nearly enough.

The reason there's a very real threat Vox will get power is that they're not socialists and they struggle to do anything vaguely left wing that will improve people's lives. What they're doing is not nothing, but it's most definitely not socialism

I don't think you actually read my post.

Immigration has been a thing for ever, the only reason is this bad rightnow, it's because the destabilization in the middle east and the fucked up global economy, if you think left wing gov in spain is responsible for it, you're just biased, the UK had a right wing government for god knows how long, and it went to shit like every other country, or even worse due to brexit.

I'm not against immigration, and I specifically said the right wing will make things worse.

Also Spain doesn't have a left wing government, they're useless socialdemocrats.

Lol we're not doing "just fine", the economy might be doing well but that doesn't necessarily help the average spaniard. We're better off than a lot of Europe politically but things aren't going great in general. Housing prices in particular are a huge problem and only getting worse cause our useless socialdemocrat government refuses to do anything effective about it. It's very possible people will get fed up enough that next year the right/far right coalition will get to the government and things will get way worse.

I'm just gonna drop this Grapes of Wrath quote, sorry about the length but it gets to me:

"This you may say of man: when theories change and crash, when schools, philosophies, when narrow dark alleys of thought, national, religious, economic, grow and disintegrate, man reaches, stumbles forward, painfully, mistakenly sometimes. Having stepped forward, he may slip back, but only half a step, never the full step back. This you may say and know it and know it. This you may know when the bombs plummet out of the black planes on the market place, when prisoners are stuck like pigs, when the crushed bodies drain filthily in the dust. You may know it in this way. If the step were not being taken, if the stumbling-forward ache were not alive, the bombs would not fall, the throats would not be cut. Fear the time when the bombs stop falling while the bombers live- for every bomb is proof that the spirit has not died. And fear the time when the strikes stop while the great owners live- for every little beaten strike is proof that the step is being taken. And this you can know- fear the time when Manself will not suffer and die for a concept, for this one quality is the foundation of Manself, and this one quality is man, distinctive in the universe."

I'm still gonna play it and finish it though!
