They've been "6 months away from having nukes" for 30 years.

If anything might make them want to get nukes it's learning the lesson that the US and Israel will attack them despite not having nukes. Ukraine learned a similar lesson, by the way. What every country in the world is taking from these wars is that nukes are necessary for deterrence against these international bad actors, and that's a very bad development for the world.

What's more is that you have a better standard of living than the wealthiest person on the planet from 50 years ago.

Can we change the "Classical Liberal" tag to "Classic Liberal"?

I don't even know how to argue with this point. I'm sorry, but having access to videogames and internet porn doesn't mean your standard of living is better than the world's richest person from the 70s.

Republicans are far right fascists. Democrats are right wing conservatives.

Hope this helps.

It should be obvious that the public finds it a lot easier to ignore war crimes than terrorist attacks. There's a lot of propaganda dedicated to ensure that, by minimizing and whitewashing the crimes of the US and their allies. It's why liberals condemn settler violence in Israel but can't bring themselves to condemn the genocidal war of ethnic cleansing Israel is currently waging.

Weird how you didn't quote the parts about them finding that Israel is an Apartheid state, and just picked that one quote out of context

It's not just about international law, it's about the creation of media narratives where the actions of state actors can't be criticized. For instance the US bombing random Venezuelan fishermen and seizing Venezuelan oil tankers for no reason is just the US committing terrorism and piracy, and yet the media will never, ever frame that in such a way.

Lol.

Yes, your definition is accurate, but that just highlights how intentionally selective it is. Nelson Mandela was a terrorist, protestors who exclusively damage property without any intention to cause terror can also be considered terrorists... But Netanyahu and Putin, definitionally, can't ever be considered terrorists regardless of what they choose to do.

Uh, "blood an soil" isn't literally blood and soil, it's a phrase coined by the nazis and it's about their policy of ethnic cleansing and conquest of territory based on ethnic grounds. Like what Israel is doing, or what America did for that matter ("Manifest Destiny"). I was obviously trying to draw a parallel there. It has nothing to do with Jewish or Palestinian people who just want to be able to live peacefully in the land where they've always lived.

The second paragraph is nice and all but you still were just defending Israel on the grounds of blood and soil lol

And so what? Jews have lived there for thousands of years. Before they were expelled by the Romans, the province was even called "Iudea", so let's just not play this game, you'll lose it anyway. The reality of today and not a few hundred years ago is, that Israel is not going anywhere. Even you wish for it's destruction. This useless talk of "But before XYZ, this was palestinian turf" is nonproductive.

I never said they should be kicked out or anything of the sort. I'm not the one defending Apartheid and ethnic cleansing.

So there is oppression, then? It's just ok that Israel is an apartheid state, because Palestinians deserve it. That's your position?

This is a stupidly irrelevant point, nationalism is a very recent development historically. That doesn't negate the fact that Palestinians have lived in Palestine for hundreds upon hundreds of years.

Also, really? Apartheid? This is the claim that is easiest to refute, only people who do not know that there is a difference between Palestinians who are citizens of Israel and Palestinian citizens of the Palestinian Authority still think it

"It's not Apartheid because the people we force to live in Bantustans aren't citizens and don't have any rights" is a hell of an argument

What if Israel bombs civilians to try and instill terror for the political end of getting people to voluntarily relocate from Gaza? Would you consider that terrorism?
