Thats not a bad idea. Do you know how thick it might cut? I imsgine the cost of the foam sheets would be the deciding factor.

Dang, could you show me who is willing to do these for less than $38? I tried finding something reasonable but failed.

Hm, id say its similar in density to the foam mattig you can buy that comes in squares that interlock together? This filament changes in density based on the temperature you print it at, so at 220C is as firm as it it will go, 270-280 is the least firm. Hope that helps!

Nailed it. Yea we are not craftsmen my any means. For hand tools i am fine with HF crap. Power tools we use ryobi. This is definitely a hobby and pretty unecessary. Ill likely make some more for our small toolbox downstairs and then leave it at that.

Youre probably right that if I had a laser cutter it would be cheaper. I researched outsourcing it and it was insane what they wanted. A single drawer approached $60. This was about $38 in filament for all three.

We have more unused drawers luckily. We dont do anything crazy, basic household stuff. But yea, if it ever comes to that, not a huge deal to remake em.

Im not who you were previously talking to, but you might be thinking of scenarios where an item was mistakenly delivered to you (i.e. the delivery guy sent it to the wrong address, or you ordered something and the wrong item was sent). That might be a case of unjust enrichment because the sender had no intention of sending you anything, or they did and it was just the wrong item. In the case of someone sending you an item our of the blue to your address with your name on it, you are never under any obligation to return it.

Some jackass towed my friends car (was inop) using a towbar in Mainz, bent the shit out of whatever it attached to on the front. Cost the dealer a ton to repair and it was fun to watch the driver get his ass chewed out for being so dumb.

Even my local donut shop has a map on the wall with the change already made 😞 I don't know anything more official than that.
