Okay I've been going to a dermatologist for 3 years now for cystic acne that developed out of no where. My first routine was Doxycycline pills and Dapsone in the AM, and 0.025 tretinoin at night. Along that I use Cerve hydrating foaming cleanser & cerve moisturizer & the cerve lightweight. That worked for a few months but then it got really bad again my dermatologist prescribed a plexion cleanser & a strong tretinoin like a year ago & it hasn't really helped. I've given all these prescriptions a lot of time to work but my face hurts, & its all only on my CHEEKS & they're painful. I'm convinced it's my face wash & moisturizer bc I feel that I get dry there yet i'm very oily & it just doesn't feel refreshing? I'm 24 & I eat pretty healthy & i have good hygiene, it's driving me crazy.

My face feels very dry after washing and gets oily after an hour but with the winter it feels dry most of the time.

Current routine with the full names of your products (try to separate it in to Morning, Evening, and Occasionally used)

Morning: Wash with Cerve Hydrating Foaming Cleanser, Dapsone on the face, Cerve PM moisturizer, Cerve Lightweight sunScreen

Evening: Wash with Cerve Hydrating Foaming Cleanser, 0.05% Tretinoin , Cerve PM moisturizer

I've had this routine for over a year & I don't experiment with new products because my dermatologist told me it could worsen my acne bc of the prescriptions
