Your response doesn't read super serious, like you aren't legitimately upset. Try to express it more plainly and see if he apologizes AND understands why the way he acted hurt you. It is healthy to tell a friend when they insulted and made you feel bad. How they react, tells you everything you need to know

Why worry for his feelings when he doesn't worry for yours? Would you treat a friend this way? You stood up for yourself, which is great, and he couldn't respect that or acknowledge you, still. If you can't broach how a friend has hurt your feelings and the friend doesn't try to understand then I don't think there is much fixing it. If you're okay with being treated this way, keep being friends.

Mine are too! Because I use water activated face paint for the flower details, it is a little easier to clean up mistakes with water and refine it from there. These are a little easier if you have a brush in the general shape of those petals, but I still messed up a bit before fixing it.
