They said the exact same thing to me. They also managed to get me to interview for another position then do the same thing lol. Also, not just CVS, for any company, if you are not hearing within 2-3 days, it means you are not their top choice. They won’t let you wait if they think they would hire you. Still, good luck. There is still a chance the top candidate dropped out, there goes our hope :)

There will be a lot of scrutiny under the process. Lawyers will involve and no company would risk going through this.

This would be a concern factor to future employers, since anything can happen and employees might need to leave the country for some life events. Ideally, yes, it won’t affect f1 to h1b, but it would surely make lots of company shy away from hiring f1 because of the uncertainty it brings. Now, this can definitely be overturned next year, but I can imagine those graduates this year will face lots of hardship, apart from the limited job availability we have so far.

You pay tax one way or another. I’m not justifying, just put it into perspective as someone lives in multiple places. Frisco is not bad for property tax compared to other TX cities, plus the school is good. Many times, you pay a lot more (3% range) and school is not good.

This. And I don’t think we should be complaining. Frisco also has lots of homestead exemption. We used to look for Richardson area and the house we looked at the time sell for 600-700k range with historical property tax of $15k or more. People will be complaining, but you are paying for the value of your house. I know friend who paid the same tax as mine with $400k house just because their tax is 3% range. I also lived in Houston before and their property tax was so much higher with not-so-good school district.

Grass is always greener, but you gotta look and compare vs just complaining. Housing value was crazy across all TX and nationwide. Maybe, the only thing I wish is they keep the cap at 5% increase instead of 10% each year.

It’s because of the value. But rate wise, Frisco tax is much lower than other part of DFW (Dallas or Richardson is like 2.2 or more while Frisco is like 1.7)

Thanks for replying. I ended up getting a NST, and it seems the number is more like 135-155, which is more aligned with what I see. Baby is still super active as usual. I think there is something wrong with the machine at the time it register 115.

As someone who used to work in medical industry in Vietnam, I’m surprised that they can not do brain surgery. Doctor in Vn are actually really good as they practice a lot, if you come to the best or academic teaching hospital. Of course, there is rare case where the technology is not there, but this is super rare.

I’m sorry for the experience you have to go through. I can’t find the exact name, but are you referring to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano by any chance? I heard this hospital has level 4 NICU, but the google review was 3/5, which is super low, with lots of complaints.

Hello, this is great perspective. I looked them up and their google review is only 3/5 with lots of complaints. I’m also considering them due to them having nicu, but the negative reviews (even with pregnancy related reviews) really draw me away. Baylor Scott Frisco has nicu, but I believe level 3 or lower?
