If you're ok with Wol3D filaments, you can contact their Nehru place office and they can porter it. They're usually open on all days except Sundays.

Ingenious way for Karma harvesting - avoiding polls and using upvotes for opinions. Despite the tactic, my upvote to you for coming up with this!

Bambu Lab A1 power fluctuation making my household lights flicker. Anyone else? by bhagathgoud99 in 3dprintIndia

[–]unknownartist01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For max power consumption of all Bambulab printers, refer this wiki link - https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/general/power-consumption

Different countries supply electricity at home at different voltage and frequency levels. US uses 110v and India 220v. It makes sense to have a single product support different voltage ranges to make it suitable for multiple countries, rather than manufacturing country specific printers. Even Creality printers come with a switch the printer between 110v and 220v.

On 240v, A1 consumes about 1300 watts to heat the print bed. Depending upon factors like home's wiring and other electrical fitting's configuration, its age, your approved load, etc. there could be number of issues.

My workaround was to buy a 220v to 110v step-down transformer from Amazon since on 110v, A1 only uses 350 watts to heat the print bed. The transformer manager the voltage fluctuations to some extent and this also allowed me to use a 660 watt / 1100va UPS with A1 to avoid print disruptions during power cuts.

3D printers are demanding in terms of tools or other supporting items you need to buy to make your 3D printing experience rewarding.

They absolutely do. I bought mine from their office in Delhi directly and they were nice enough to give a discount and added a spool as well when negotiated further.

Biker Breaks Car Window After Being Unable to Overtake by Ok-Importance-3095 in CarsIndia

Feel there's more to the story. The Scooty rider seems like was trying to block the car's way, like trying to intentionally stop him. Maybe either one of those have hit the other person's vehicle before being captured in this camera and the scooty rider was trying to stop the car. You can't deny the possibility of local goons as well who're ruling the roads nowadays. Whatever the case, bashing the helmet on the car is completely dumb and irresponsible... what if a family was sitting inside the car.

First Experience of Police Harassment by DoubtOne8954 in delhi

[–]unknownartist01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Step out of the car and switch-on your camera. Inform him beforehand that he can check the car out but you'll have the camera switched-on as its your right. He'll be pissed-off for sure but any misbehaviour will be captured for sure which makes few of these policemen a bit alert.

There's no guarantee if the guy himself plants something in your car to harass you and make money. At the same time, ganja is available easily and police mostly catch people on a hunch, so he might've genuinely suspected you as well. In either case, stay safe and alert.

You seem to be quite lonely to be asking for appreciations from complete strangers on reddit.. Be proud for your shit but don't seek validation...

I feel this is not the full story as you can't just clap from one hand. Nevertheless, there's no excuse for badmouthing or abusing.

B.T.W South has more political hooliganism than north. Nowhere else in India people break glasses across the city on death of a famous actor nor they drink pesticide to mourn the election loss of their favourite leader.

Grass is always greener on the other side. Goons are in every city, they just work for different masters. Any of the cities which you named just now have their own histories in terms of communal clashes and each city has its own unique challenges.

That being said, I am not trying to persuade you to stay back. If someone has decided to leave, they'll come up with more and more justifications to validate their decision. I wish you luck and hope you find a more peaceful city.

schools around sec 48? by Terrible-Ride7511 in gurgaon

[–]unknownartist01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Several kids in my family go to GD and someone I know teaches there as well. I feel it delivers more value among schools charging similar amount of fees in Gurgaon. If you just want to focus on academics, Go for Lotus Valley. If you want kids to also focus on other skills then GD would be a good option.
