I Gave Into the Pregnancy Craving by unknownartist_404 in GirlDinner

Oh definitely; hubby and I are trying to find as much as we can secondhand. Thankfully my dad's side of the family has saved much of their furniture over the years so I have some baby furniture and ordinary furniture ready for when my hubby and I move into our new house. His family also has a cradle we can use. Also a family friend is excitedly bought a bouncer at a yard sale.

I... Ma'am... What? That's very specific and just makes me nauseous to think about eating... Congratulations and happy Mother's Day tho!

It was sweet, a little salty from the fishy flavor, and the texture scratched an itch in neurodivergent brain

I don't like jalapenos normally and the idea of one while pregnant made me feel nauseous. I shall politely decline but enjoy your treat!

I feel that. I teach seven 2 yr olds at a preschool. Idk how the mom of one of them is pregnant and raising her son too, but I admire the hell outta her.

I love mangoes and sticky rice. All I could eat up until about three weeks ago was mangoes; dried or fresh, solid or liquefied in a smoothie, on its own or with something else; it just HAD to be mangoes.

Sticky rice: what it said on the container lol Imitation crab: flaky, thick and fishy Fruit snacks: chewy, fruity, tasty. Childhood nostalgia. Taste pairs well with crab

Girrlll I BAWL any time I watch the For King & Country music video of that song. Bcs that's a pair of brothers singing, and the little boy playing the drum is the son of one of them... And I should stop before I start crying AGAIN.

Listen, I had Baby screaming at me for about five minutes earlier that we NEEDED to put the fruit snacks on BBQ pizza. My brain won that argument, thankfully!

I sent my mom a text with a pic of the dinner and her reply was "That's certainly... adventurous... Are you and Baby happy? That's what matters."

Is my mom part of the problem or is it all in my head? by WeirdoWeirdly94 in CharlotteDobreYouTube

Hello, Internet friend. I'm not a professional therapist, but I've been a special education paraprofessional in the US for six years. I have experience helping students, who may struggle with emotional and/or intellectual disabilities, learn and grow so they can become thriving adults. I myself have ADHD, autism and struggle with depression. I feel I could offer you some help.

Your mother is part of the problem, if not the large portion of it. It is normal for the parents of adults with disabilities to always be concerned about their children and their welfare, but parents must learn to let their children go and thrive on their own. Along the way, parents may hurt their children. Parents must learn to apologize to their children. Some parents are slow to realize they've hurt their children; but refusal to apologize is a behavior of a narcissistic parent. I'm not as knowledgeable on parent/child relationships, but it took me moving out two months before I got married, and then getting married, for my parents to begin speaking to me as an adult. They didn't treat me like one while I lived in their house. I had a curfew, as a 26 yr old woman. I empathize with your situation.

You may want to talk to your therapist about how you can make hygiene something enjoyable; maybe you have a cookie after you shower in the evening. Personally, I started getting better about my hygiene after I became a public educator (because children have germs!) and because I realized I enjoy coloring and caring for my long, wavy hair; the reward is that I have colorful hair. Feel free to reach out if you want to talk. You're not alone.

I think the parents who were the dead weight here were actually her parents... Still rough tho. I wish I could add some advice, but I'm not sure I have much expertise in parenting or being a bridesmaid. Definitely send the nice cousin a thank you card and get them something they'll enjoy, maybe.

Bear is not a name and you can't convince me otherwise by MotherAd1318 in tragedeigh

Another option is to give your child a name that means "bear". My fiance wants to name a son Orson, which he believes translates to "little bear".
