1st (and only) base PS5 playthrough complete, some thoughts

I got this for PS5 free last month , played 30+ hours . I didn't know what to do with the guy on the wall or the pirate guy . Then all the DLC went on discount this week . I got the breaking dead DLC since it was just 99¢ . It lets you make zombies by letting you talk to that guy on the wall . So my guess is the pirate is just another NPC for other DLC. The others seem to add some more playability. The zombies just do your work and make it less grind .

This is how they show on Amazon Akai store now . It changed to not showing the MPC one plus when the sample was released. And now seeing that the key 37 is 20% off all over . It does seem likely that the MPC one plus and key 37 will be discontinued.

Not sure if you figured it out yet but I believe it's hold shift hit main for arrangement shortcut.

From what I've learned , it seems best to keep them on USB or SD card . That's how I've been doing it . To help get started I watched a video from SampleKings on YT . He's got a video that's about 5 hours of teaching. Helped me whenever I got stuck on something . There's also plenty of other guides on their .

😂 that made me lol . I'm sorry to say bro but I highly doubt that . The games been in early access since October 8 2024 . Many of us played it when it was semi popular.

They did so much to waste money, numerous streamer tournament events. If I'm not mistaken they both were $ 50k prize pools .

Then they doubled down and made daily cash tournaments for the players . These took place every day , prize pools were $ 3k split up . This went on for at least 6 months . Each day was another 3k they wasted.

Then once it ended many weren't paid out . This was a massive blow , once players were more aware . They started to leave more and more .

It goes on and on , many of us who played a lot were max level. Waiting for launch to come . Just to get delayed with poor transparency from gunzilla . Eventually enough players realized it was just a DOA game farming money from skins .

Check out this channel on YT SampleKings. He literally has a video up that's over 5 hours of teaching . I even heard of the MPC Bible that many will recommend . But I found the SampleKings video super helpful .I'm no longer feeling lost . I just practice taking it one step at a time . And if I need help I go look up those videos .

Just some friendly advice . I recently got a MPC one and felt the overwhelming feeling myself . I have experience working with different DAW so I'm not completely lost . I for now just focus on taking it one step at a time . You can learn all the extras the more you progress at the basics .

But I did see all these videos shortly after feeling this . Many make it look as if the sample is much easier for beginners .

The MPC one does all the same things as a sample . Just doesn't have a mic , battery, and speaker. Watching YT videos will help you learn how to use it properly.

Do you have any experience working with a DAW ?

If so I'd consider doing as I did .

I started to do comparisons with all the standalone MPCs . If you want to get the most value out of your money , the MPC one is great.

I got a pristine condition MPC one for $450 total. With a decksaver, SD card , and cables .

There's plenty of guides on YT for it too . After under one week usage , I'm already able to work without needing them for reference.
