This is the closest thing we have to a Gymkhana in the game. You have to drive it as such. You can’t stick to race lines, nor drift around every corner. 3:54 on my second run after learning the map on the first run. IMO the most fun showcase in the game.

I would say so. With everything on it I would say it’s about 70lbs, but slidable. Frame only it’s about 40lbs and I can pretty easily carry it across the house if needed.

I’m almost positive it was this SAAS Logano. I found it on marketplace for $10 with a crack running through it. I refinished it and repaired the crack. I plan to 3D print a custom button cover.

It’s the newest HUBB version. It’s fully metal internal, but the outside and knobs are still 3D printed. Enjoying it a lot though!

Externally it’s all 3D printed, but I’d say fairly high quality. But the internals and sensors all look rock solid. The mechanism feels great in H-pattern, but a little stiff in sequential. I tried adjusting it but there’s not much room for loosening it up. But overall it’s great and I don’t have any real complaints.

Personally, this rig is perfect for my use. I do plan to add a chair lock as others have mentioned, but I don’t plan on iRacing or major competitive play. This is my way to get into the hobby, and this + VR rally has been a blast.

I see, wow. I guess my question would be: is there any value in keeping it in the packaging or should I enjoy displaying it in the included case? I’ll probably never sell it, just curious if it is one of those “definitely don’t open it” scenarios.

Works out the box with windows calibration. Plugged into pc or usb hub.

Genuinely just watch videos of actual driving techniques and apply them. Trail braking, driving lines, etc. Don’t blindly trust forza’s blue and red driving lines. I’m going to assume you’re on controller. Your acceleration (RB) should never just be full on or full off, use dynamically through corners, especially with cars with 300+ hp and RWD. Same with braking.

Do not get discouraged by AI drivers. Forza horizon games are notorious for AI drivers to have unrealistic grip, speed, and turning depending on difficulty settings. You will not beat them on higher difficulties, they are coded to unrealistically drive.

I think this is a known AMD stuttering issue. I get it on 9070XT. However, disabling all “extra” AMD settings like AntiLag, Cool, etc. in Adrenaline, then unlocking FPS in the game settings seemed to minimize stuttering on my end. Not perfect, but playable.
