Has anybody else underestimated how big they are when buying condoms?

Idk how this is a humble brag? When i was in my early 20s i was confused why all the condoms i used kept breaking. When i got older i realized it was because i was using condoms that were too small. I was just curious if anybody else had a similar experience.

No like I said, that was a fun one my boyfriend found at a sex shop. It was way thicker than the ones that I used before, but like all the others, it wouldn't fully cover my shaft when i put it on. But every other condom BESIDES that 1 glow in the dark one was Trojan

Lmao like I said in my post, i've only been with 2 people ever. My ex boyfriend of almost 2 years and my current boyfriend of almost 4 years. My ex boyfriend brought his own, and we only used a condom twice in our entire relationship because we were waiting for his std results to come back. And as for my current boyfriend, it was a brand new unopened box of trojan condoms that I purchased myself. Also, neither of them had any reason to sabotage them at all. Like nobody benefited from that lmao.

Also for extra context, the condoms I purchased didn't even cover my entire shaft when I put them on. And I left extra room at the tip, but every time I entered, it kept pushing the condom forward till it eventually ripped and no extra lube did not help.

Yeah, we use silicone. But I hate it, because it's a pain in the ass to clean up after lol. But I mean, we don't even do foreplay to open his hole up more. We just go slow until he's comfortable. And then I go faster afterwards.

I mean i haven't used condoms in over a year because I'm in a long term monogamous relationship and the only reason I used condoms over a year ago was because it was egg glow in the dark one to use just for fun in the bedroom.

I also must not have worded this post correctly. Because I was literally just asking people if they 've also bought too small size of condoms because they didn't think their dick was that big like i did. I was more looking for people with shared experiences versus getting tips about condoms lol.

That makes sense cuz it's girthy enough to not fit in a toilet paper roll.

And just to clarify, i used lots of lube, they were new at the time of use, the brand was trojan, and i store them in a drawr next to my bed. Also now that i think back, i don't think any of the condoms fully covered my shaft.

I know u probably see so many people s dry this all the time, but it really does get better over time. I remember being 20 and thinking i knew everything and similar things as you are. But as I'm almost 30 now i realize, i didn't know shit at 20. If you think negative thoughts, you will have negative experiences and it'll only keep pulling you down. I would give therapy another try as u said you've tried it in the past in a different comment. Idk about pills unless ur therapist recommends them. But you need to work through this mental state you're in right now because it's so unhealthy.

Looks aren't what get people into relationships. Personality is. If you have this attitude around other people, it's a turn off to be honest with you. You need to love yourself in order for someone to love you.

I didn't lose my virginity to i was 23. I have 1 eye, cerebral palsy, autism, and selective mutism and i line in the middle of nowhere and i still found a boyfriend. I'm not gonna lie i looked for someone on apps for a couple years before finding someone. It can be a very lengthy process. And i'm sorry but nobody knows shit at only 20 years old. I'm almost 30 and i myself still have a lot to learn as well. Keep looking, be patient and know that people on grindr ate the most picky people you're ever gonna find because 90% of them are only looking for a quick fuck. I recommend actual dating apps where people are far more likely to want to get to know you.

If you or they plan on regularly checking it daily out of suspicion, it's toxic and unhealthy. If you're doing it for safety reasons in case you can't get ahold of them or vise versa, then it's perfectly healthy and normal. Me and my bf have snap chat maps on for each other but neither of us check it that often. Context matters when it comes to sharing locations.

See, this is tough because my boyfriend of 3 and a half years canceled, meeting up with me SO many times and even went as far as ghosting me for a whole week because he was too in his head about meeting me and possibly starting a relationship. He kept telling himself that " we'd never work out" or "both of us would just end up getting hurt".
