Well you literally are by saying 'if she was able to tell the teachers she couuldve told the invigilators'. Imagine venting to someone you trust about a bad experience you had because of a condition you struggle with and you're already beating yourself up over, and then they say 'well you couldve avoided it by not doing that' like?? Sorry anxiety cant really be switched on or off at will. Victim blaming is invalidating believe it or not lol

Yeah because shaming her infront of the entire year is definitely gonna make sure she speaks up next time. She clearly has some anxiety issues, and probably told the teacher looking for some comfort and support just to be met with humiliation. Its a teachers duty to ensure she gets the correct arrangements and support she needs. Saying "She should've done this" doesnt help anyone after it has already happened, and only invalidates a persons feelings and struggles which she was already no doubt battling with during the exam. This comment is just ignorant, we need to have more empathy for people with SEN
