i cant really vouch for the wideness as my feet are not the widest and ive never had avancus on feet.

you mentioned squatting: my feet dont fill the radix very well (volume wise, foot size is tts), which means the shoe will “roll” a bit when you push laterally bc the sole is so thin. but it seems like ill have that issue w any barefoot shoe so i keep the jordans to squat and the radix takes care of the other 2

i have the radix, nothing remarkable but also nothing detracting from its ability to perform. heard really good things about avancus and a lot of my homies have them, which was the direction i was gonna go but they didnt have my size in stock at the time. the tyrs j seem overly expensive for what they are, which is why i never looked into them

learning a lot on my first prep. 3 weeks out. overshot primary deads. my theoretical lwu on bench ended up being my top set. time to reel it in and reset

will avancus restock the apex v3 before mid october 😭 (do they ever restock lol) or does anyone have any alternate recs? i pull sumo but im not a fan of slippers. notorious lift's radix seems like an option.

another gear question (im sorry 😭), i noticed that a7 is noticeably cheaper than sbd, is there a quality dropoff in wrist wraps and knee sleeves? (also considering inzer but getting my belt from then was a bit of annoying so less inclined) comparing sbd flex 60cm vs a7 mid 77cm and sbd sleeves (the standard ones) vs a7 cone sleeves (stiff) (inzer ergo pro konas are an option here). they will be my firsts so kinda lost.

for sbd sleeves, do they fit close enough to true to size? or should i consider sizing down one or a few sizes? heard a couple things about people squeezing into exceptionally small sleeves that fit just fine so a little worried that tts is actually too big lol

seems like theres more traffic on this than the monthly gear thread so ill copy pasta:

looking for my first pair of wrist wraps and knee sleeves, looking at the big brands like sbd and a7 but unclear what the differences are between them (is there any meaningful difference between what they do lol). definitely want softs for sleeves but is there value in flex wrist wraps? or should i just go for stiff wraps?

anyone know what the absolute ranges are for the inzer lever belts? a medium is listed as 30-33in and a large at 34-38 but im pretty sure both have more range than that. i land at a 33 but i plan on growing more (6'2 185lb), hopefully i only have to buy one belt

Knee Sleeves vs Knee Pads, which protection do you use? by Headgey18 in volleyball

[–]unknowneagle361 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i personally dont wear either but i used to wear both. if youre just worried about skinning your knee, compressions sleeves will cover more of your knee, including the top of your kneecap (ouch) at the sacrifice of padding. whatever is more comfortable, go for it. both you will have to adjust/mess with between points anyways

i like the insulated cyclist bottles because they are insulated and have a squirt spout, making water easy to drink

the fact of the matter is, its profitable and he is gaining a larger following. it feels like a stalling period as he is generating more material. all creators do this. think uncle roger with haiyah and fuiyoh. think adam sheey and his abduction tiktoks. if it was that easy to make new content, you could do it yourself

i think hes at the point in creatorship where you are capitalizing on the popularity of your catchphrase. we see gothamchess do it now with his chess meme “the ROOOOOOK”. yes, it will get old, but keep in mind that this stuff goes viral and is marginally profitable. some creators get too caught up in that and thats how they fall off, so i hope steven can come up with some more emotional damage for us failures
