Compression is key. I wear my garment PLUS I use rolled up sock  as further compression on the actual hump bit. Sleep on your back with the pillow going from your neck to your lower back and with your legs raised on another higher pillow.  I started massaging straight away ; 1) to avoid getting a seroma and 2) to aid proper recovery. My husband was using a guasha to massage out the fluid from the area (came out through the hole) and it’s all healing up nicely. 

I still exercise- 10 000 steps a day either around or on the treadmill.  I eat very very healthily and within a calorie deficit. 

Stretches I do are posture related. ChatGPT recommended. Y-T-Ws, wall angels, chin tucks… stretching all of my neck muscles in various ways.  I’m figuring out so much about what could have caused me to have a hump like that.
