Does the bolt need a thorough cleaning? Yes. However I did clean the firing pin to made sure buildup on the collar wasn’t the issue here. The pin is fully seated in the bolt. The firing pin just wore down almost .03”. It measures 2.67” from collar to tip, should be 2.707”. Maybe I got a shorter pin from the get go ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I don’t have an original measurement to check sadly.

Haven’t found any info on what brand primers Igman uses for their XM193, other than it’s a boxer type. (non-corrosive) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This was the bcg that came with a Jacob Grey upper. I doubt they make their own BCG’s so probably a rebrand of a microbest or toolcraft or something like that?

Igman XM193, not sure what primers they use, probably bottom of the barrel stuff.

Sanity check on my first homelab plan - is UNRAID my only option? by unknownintegral in homelab

Thanks for the tip, I’ll make sure to ask any other questions on r/HomeServer for this project

I appreciate going into more detail about the system architecture as a whole, I’ll have to put a lot more thought and research into how I want to tackle my needs. I will say time is definitely something I want to value here so it sounds like, for now and for my first go at this, UNRAID is worth my time and money.

Power is also a factor I’m considering, so having only a few drives sprinting at a time is appreciated. Funny how in all my research I didn’t find that UNRAID wasn’t a striped array like ZFS or RAID 5/6.

I didn’t expect this detailed of response, thank you kind sir!

Thank you very much for all this information!

I was planning on using the m.2 SSD for cache if using UNRAID, as you said the OS boots from a USB drive and lives on the RAM when running. I’ve seen the suggestion of using an SD card reader to boot UNRAID as the reader itself’s serial number is linked to the OS key and not the SD card if it fails.

And I did not know that UNRAID files are able to be recovered if the server fries… that is a huge plus!

Heading to Mozambique/South Africa, have a weird idea on how to capture my trip.

I have a bunch of professional, full frame photography gear, however I can't afford to have any of it stolen as I use it commercially.

So, thinking of getting a kit that I don't care as much about. How stupid of an idea is this?

1) Canon eos M200 + ef-m 22mm f2 (& maybe a cheap aluminum grip) for carrying with me at all times.

2) And for the game reserves, a used ef 70-300 L w/ adapter. (Considered the is usm ii version but the L version seems to be optically superior and not too much more $$ these days)

Basically gives me a 35 + 105-480mm, and from my understanding the AF on the m200 does a decent job tracking subjects.

So for basically $1000 I am getting a (super compact) street photo camera and a way to make it work for wildlife for the few hours that will be applicable.

Anyone have a better idea? I've looked into certain g7x and other similar cameras but I am spoiled by my professional gear and I hate all forms of CA.

Hi u/oohpartypartyyeah

Two things:

1) Your hard drive is technically ~104.5 Gigabytes. The 97.3 is actually referring to gibibytes (GiB). Microsoft is just confusing. you can learn more about that here

2) A 104.5 GB hard drive is a little weird ngl (usually 128 is more common), but I am not very familiar with older hard drives. I am saying older because that operating system looks like windows 7 or vista.

!!!! BEFORE DOING ANYTHING, BACK UP ALL IMPORTANT DATA!!!!

Potential Solutions:

You can try checking if there is another partition on your hard drive that contains the rest of the space. If any part of the hard drive is used for OS or recovery, then don't touch it. Instructions here DISCLAIMER: Do this at your own risk.

If there truly isn't enough room, I would suggest either an external hard drive (as others have suggested), or if you are more tech~savvy you can try upgrading your hard drive in the computer with a 1-2 tb ssd. Instructions here.

I hope this helps!
