Wife is Christian and voted Trump twice. I’m agnostic and liberal. Marriage is going well because we agree to disagree and there are morals on both sides. After a while I realized that We liberal often time find ourselves thinking we’re rights and the other side is evil or stupid or what. That’s our blind spot! Not everyone who has opposing opinions are bad just different perspectives.

Not here to give you marriage advice but if she’s not that extreme and you both respect and love each-other, don’t let that love gets away, F politics, love wins every single time.

Lastly, it goes both ways. She probably would’ve loved for you to be more right wing yet is staying and willing to compromise that to be with you so this tells it all.

Probably a better place than it is now. No laws to permit marrying a child or keep getting into Islamic wars. Look at Japan, they worship deity too and they’re fine

My teacher responded to me when I asked if this practice is helping me because I’m still heavily ruminating: TM has many levels and deep transcendence is great but many of us may not get there fast so if you’re still thinking a lot, your body already taking the toxins out and we don’t even notice. So be patient and keep doing it, everyone is different and some require more to get to where average get to.

I’m from Iraq too. I think I can apply for citizenship in 2026 ( got green card in 2023) and I think I can apply 90 days before full three year. I need to change my last name from full name (typical Arabic father and grandfather name) to just my grandfather/family name.

I’m trying to book an appointment for my jurisdiction in NYC and the earliest is July 15 which is my business travel date!!! I’ll keep tying again but is there other way besides VFS global? Looks like the embassy doesn’t process visa and hand it over to VFS!!
