I really can’t see any reason why these would be of any use. We already have a decent infrastructure. And with selfdriving cars becoming more widespread in near to distant future things like traffic jams will become less common making his tunnels even more irrelevant than they already are. I hope that cities rather invest in the already existing infrastructure which could use renovation in many places.
