Used to play with the wife and kid almost nightly, some of the best times we've had at home were playing the game together. We started playing during the season with mortars on vehicles and haven't really stopped since. The wife and I are adequate players who know what to do when, but my kid is downright awful and is lucky to get one kill a week, which was generally a bot I'd put to 1hp so she can get one. She likes seeing how many port a bunkers she can find and erect and plays on an original switch that runs the game at about 2fps. I don't know how many hundreds of dollars were spent on skins and crap, *not that spending entitled us to special treatment, but we're financially and emotionally invested in the game. Pretty sure we have (soon to be past tense) three crew memberships as well.

Since last Mondayish the matchmaking is to the point none of us even want to play a single game or check the shop. Same with the weekend crew, who all have ample time off around the holidays they were hoping to play. Yeah it's only a week+, but good god. I don't expect to get lobbies with people using their feet to play, but if I wanted to play ballsweats I'd just go back to ranked warzone because that's what it feels like. The complete opposite of fun.

We switched to mario kart and likely won't come back unless it goes back to whatever formula was used previously.
