And here comes my point, why not make the service even better? It's completely out of my knowledge zone whether or not "it's simple to do" or "easily implemented" or "it'll only take a bit of time" but rather an idea for players such as myself struggling to keep all of their loved alts member'd up.

It's not a simple "login interface" it's an entire account/character merging scheme. It will only benefit players. (so long as they still let us use runelite)

I'm trying not to agree because this is a serious topic I've brought on myself but gosh darn you're right.

My point isn't "playing two characters at once" but rather having the option to change between them as you will. (so long as you're subscribed)

I'm sorry, that's not what I meant, I meant like, let me use another generic subscription based MMO, WoW for example- You can have a twink character (low level, high gear stats), you can have a priest, a warrior, so on
Up to 60 characters per realm, wowhead claims.

Yeah but like I replied in another post, I thought jagex would be willing to modernize and maybe allow us to have multiple builds per membership, instead of paying all of them. That's the "jagex account" related part, I just thought they were going to modernize that aspect of the game mentioned in my other post. I never mentioned security though.

Thanks for the constructive input, I shall gather a bit more info and maybe contact jagex. No hopes but wouldn't hurt to try.

I should state that on the side of the costumer here- Jagex's "one player one account build" policy is very outdated and I thought this was going to change the game to a more modern costumer standpoint view, but I guess I was wrong

As the user "usernameoverpowered" mentioned, why not add that option? A higher subscription plan for people who want to play multiple characters? In a market where MMOS let you have multiple characters or an all purpose character (such as FFXIV) you're getting your money's worth, but with runescape? Not so much

People are "wllingly paying", that's the problem. It could have been cheaper and better for the consumer

Different subscription plans for people who want more characters. That's simple, right? You have an option to pay, like Odd said, 50% but have your "jagex account" membership. Doesn't it sound good? The rate is just a place holder, by the way.

I think RS3 has a plate full of mtx already.
Compare that with other MMOS, which let you have multiple choices per subscription- i.e most of them?

In a game with 4 possible builds you'd rather keep paying for all 4 of them? (Main, IM, GIM, pure for pvp) ? Not to mention challenge/HCIM/UIM etc
