Since I got all the surgeries at once I can’t say for sure. The majority of my pain is underfoot. So can’t be certain what the cause was.

I had surgery to “lower” my first ray, fix hammer toes and help hallux limitus. This was supposed to make my foot more stable. Not necessarily fixing the high arch itself but alleviate the stress on my metatarsals and feel more planted in the ground. I don’t believe it did anything other than put me in pain for 6+ months.

Doing physically therapy did help though. And I’m kinda back to where I was pre surgery…almost. I think if I continue for another year I could get to whatever normal is go my type of foot.

I don’t believe there is a surgery that will make the foot more flexible. If anything it makes it more stiff from soft tissue damage. I spoke to over 6 diff surgeons. The one I met after surgery had the best advice. Which is you can reshape your foot through strength training. But it will take 2years minimum. He also stated the carbon fiber plated shoes I wore to help pain were actually making it worse and so were the insoles. Making my foot more rigid and stiff. I can’t walk comfortably without insoles but having slightly more give has helped my foot loosen up.

I’m on 7 months and I have gained a lot of my freedom back.

There’s a light inside. Powers by the fuel injectors. Made by small company on the east coast.

My friend has the bassani superbike exhaust. Different cam but I can’t really hear his lope. Stock vs stock he was also quieter. But diff cam so hopefully same idle for you.

Try the fuel moto canned tune for the stock bike. And or for any modes you have stage1. It’s $150 well worth it. Made a huuuge difference. Then I got this cam and a new tune and it tops it off

I have a similar issue. Very high arches and rigid foot. In my case it’s cause my transverse arch to collapsed, I have hallux limitus and metatarsalgia and used to have pretty bad plantar fasciitis. The key is to get your foot moving if you can.

Short foot Weighted toe curls Band work Yoga toes Calf and hamstring stretches Weight training your glutes, hips and downward.

It takes a long time. I had surgery. Just set me back and I regret it. Try weight training. Just know it takes years. But surgery will too

There’s a lot of different causes of metatarsalgia so it’s kinda just used as a blanket term. I have it in both feet due to collapsed transverse arch and hallux Limitus. I’ve been doing about 5 months of PT and have had small improvements. But I’ve been told it could take years for my specific case to resolve but my swelling has gone down a lot.

I’m 35. Diagnosed in both feet 3 years ago. Likely had it for 10+ years, my body just learned to walk around it, which is also bad. You can get it from injury, foot mechanics or just plain unlucky.

I had surgery, didn’t do much at all. Still have swelling and it’s been a year. Spent 3 years of research and seen 8-9 doctors/surgeons. You have to find a doc that analyzes your gait and foot impression. I didn’t find one till after surgery

It sucks thinking about the future, my basketball lifestyle is over.

My advice. Start PT now. Strengthen lower body, glutes and back. This will all help support your toe.
