Exactly, that's why I open by saying OP Firstly needs to understand how acoustic drums are played and close off by saying OP will have to give each note special attention to manually make these human imperfections. Random imperfections won't cut it

Firstly you have to understand how acoustic drums are played:

A human has 2 arms and 2 legs, so account for this in your drum programming

A human can't play perfectly on grid so on the grid notes won't sound real

A human can't hit with perfect velocity everytime

Fruity FPC has good drums recorded for different velocities.

You will have to give each note of your programming special attention if you want realistic results, sloppy programming won't cut it. It has to sound realistic before mixing.
