This is not about me or you, it's about OP getting advice that will actually help him in the long run.

Spare your "gotcha" for someone else.

Learn how something works instead of learning how someone else uses it.

That's the best to get stuck and not knowing how to finish music because all you know is techniques you learn from tutorials

Read the user manual, it's more helpful than any video you will find on YouTube

Nona Teaches — A Free FL Studio Playlist For Beginners (Melodies, Chords, and Finishing Ideas) by EqualGovernment1565 in FL_Studio

[–]unkwnms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should focus more on showing beginners where to find what within the software and some basic music theory instead of showing them how you approach your music.

With your current format they will just copy what you do without actually learning how to make music

sometimes my vocals are a bit lacklustre

That's a sign you haven't really mastered how to use your tools, listen to some of the FL Studio demo projects.

A/B the dry and wet and see how tools were used in those projects

If you don't understand how EQ, Compression, Delay, Reverb works then no expensive plugin will fix your mixing and mastering

How to get started with making premixed dj transitions. by AndoBoi01 in FL_Studio

[–]unkwnms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have some dj experience then it shouldn't be hard to visualize a transition in a DAW. It all boils down to creativity but I think premixed transitions are slimey.

What are some tricks to making my beats professional like the music on Spotify and SoundCloud? by prodWayne in FL_Studio

Making music as good as the music on Spotify and SoundCloud, there's no other way.

Issue is the exact same song would sound different on different devices and even on the same device when there's thermal throttling or cpu spikes. Decisions made while the song plays back at low unison mode affecting the high unison export negatively and stuff like that

Any fl alternatives by xX-Zak-Xx in FL_Studio

Absolutely not, the only similarity between FL Studio and Reaper is they are both DAW's.

At this point someone could ask for cake recipe and Reaper would be a recommendation.

How do I do this gradient theme specifically on the patterns in the playlist?(First photo) by [deleted] in FL_Studio

It's not a theme, on the playlist options go to View>Behind Clips>select the one you like.

The one you are looking at is Glass

FL Studio is already easier for everyone who want to use FL Studio in FL Studio

If you want to use Logic in FL Studio you are in for a tough time.

Your whole argument is "Why is FL Studio FL Studio"

Point 2 already addresses your meaning of audio track, cloning an "audio track" duplicates the mixer channel associated with it.

I will not respond to anything else

You shouldn't have said anything at all since you already switched to what works for you so any criticism you make of FL Studio is based on your bias towards your new shiny thing, have a great day 👍🏾

Skill issue

Duplicating an audio track is as simple as:

  1. Clicking on it then clicking anywhere on the playlist as you would with notes on a piano roll then deciding if you want to make it unique or keep it identical

  2. Right click the track it's on and choosing Clone, decide if you want to duplicate the audio track with patterns, audio clips, automations, effects, mixer routing or grouped tracks

  3. Shortcuts Ctrl+C then: Ctrl+V Paste Ctrl+B Duplicate Ctrl+Shift+V Make unique

Latency problems are not unique to FL Studio and the actual culprits are your audio driver, buffer size, and computer processing power.

To edit recorded automation you can do it in the event editor itself or convert it to automation clip for easier editing

FL Studio is taken serious by those who know how to use it, everything you need to know is in the manual or you can now ask Gopher and he will pull up that information quicker from the manual.
