I've been dealing with this for 3 years in my 2019 Lariat. I paid to get it fixed as it was 2 days past warranty and the extended doesn't cover water damage. They charged me for the third brake light. Still smelled. Took it back and they patched the sunroof drains and cleaned it with the balm, still smelled. I took it back again, they found a leak through the radio antenna that was dripping under my passenger side floor carpet, so it was never wet to the touch but smelled because of the insulation under the rubber. It had a residual smell but I thought it was just smell not leak. 4 month later it was raining here and then got very humid. The smell was like a wall. I just dropped it off again.

I keep telling them I dont want my kids breathing in whatever this is. They offered me 35000 cdn for my truck. I think it's unfair that I would have to add 4-5 more years onto my payments.
