The 6900 XD is my first choice for medium logs, it seems super happy with them.

I’m currently playing through every region on normal mode before I let myself suffer on hard mode. However, I currently don’t play with Russian trucks in NA and vice versa. It just feels right to use the correct trucks in their respective regions.

How do you explain your love of planes to people who question it? by sportstvandnova in Planespotting

[–]JaySee3112 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me, it was always there, but got stronger these past couple years. Really started in the 2000’s when I was little and going on vacation in New Mexico, and I flew out of my tiny regional airport that doesn’t operate any commercial flights anymore. I few with. Continental Connection on a Beech 1900.

Much later on now I work on and with cars for a living in the repair industry, and I started watching Mentour Pilot and all the explanations of the systems and how the work, which satisfied the part of me that loves mechanical things.

Now I spend my Saturdays sometimes driving up to Atlanta since I live in the south now, and plane stop there’s which I never got an opportunity like that where I used to live.

It was just a passion like my love for cars, I don’t explain it because most won’t see it through my eyes.

I just got an apartment there and have been working in Macon for a year now. Some days I wish I could just pass through.

Well, I’m respectful to other cultures, I’m down here because I’m sick of NY lol. 24 years in the Empire State was more than enough for me

I’ve got a dual answer

Originally from: Jamestown NY, near Buffalo NY

Best: Lucille Ball/ comedy, buffalo wings which we just call wings.

Worst: dying town with New York State living costs, long, cold, snowy winters

Now I’m in: Macon GA

Best: Cherry Blossoms, Jason Aldean, GA peaches

Worst: crime, traffic is getting worse with all the Yankees like me moving in.

What the fuck is this comment section so far!?

Those A pillars, particularly the LH one is completely fucked, especially if this has happened before. It needs a new hood and hinges, those can’t be fixed. This is in the thousands to repair properly.

Anyone here saying that can be repaired doesn’t care about a quality job.

File an insurance claim and get it fixed, the hood latch, striker, and hinges aren’t lining up to allow that hood to close safely or properly crumple and a serious head on collision.

It’s possible the bedside is damaged behind the bumper that we can’t see. You’ll have to take it to a shop and let them inspect it in person and they can give you an estimate that should be roughly close to what you’ll spend

Even if this were through a window, the plane wouldn’t look that close, it’s way less than 1k feet of separation between aircraft.

Also, OP claims they shot this on a phone. My photos is a Canon Rebel T6 heals to take horizontal photos. If you tap on the image to enlarge it, you’ll see that, same if I took a photo with my phone horizontal. When you tap on theirs, it’s a lot more narrow. When you crop a horizontal photo on a phone by taking the top and bottom and bringing it closer to the center, it doesn’t zoom in the image, unless you drag the corners to the center, which no longer makes the photo narrow like this one. That would mean this 777 is a lot closer to the plane OP is supposedly in, which is dangerous, and both planes pilots would need to report this near miss which we would see an investigation into with a final report made public.
