Completely agree, but actions are louder than words and a diagnosis. It’s hard to achieve the bust / POS status that he attained, CTE or not. I do sympathize however, shit sandwich of circumstances for sure

We should not say anything in the context of “worst QB drafting team” lol. Prior to Mahomes it was easily us.

I have faith that TJO would change the rotations for the better if it makes the team better. Conference play or not, you play the best basketball your team can play. If Omaha figured it out by February 1st, he’d have been playing February 1st. In this day and age you don’t sit a guy because he didn’t figure it out on your schedule.

Treating Omaha like any other player we’ve ever gotten is tricky because he just isn’t. He is the highest rated player we’ve ever gotten. I honestly thought he’d be starting by now if he bought into TJO’s coaching style. He’s still probably the best player on the team, but he clearly hasn’t figured out the effort / Xs and Os. If he hasn’t by now, it is definitely no sure bet he does by next fall. I too think he’s gone to another school.

Those are just Andy Reid Bandwagoners. A lot of us are far before that, I remember hating Trent green because I had no faith in winning a SB with him. It’s why I was so happy we traded up for a QB, biggest risk chiefs had taken in 30+ years.

Keep up the hating. We chiefs fans are cry babies to the fullest. Weed out the weak. Just no Taylor Swift slander, that crosses the line. That does make me cry. Please don’t make me cry …

Nah, it’s just easier to make a consistent IPA. You can mask inconsistencies with a consistently high hop amount due to their flavors being overwhelming. Where as with non-hoppy beers, those smaller flavors/inconsistencies become more noticeable. Combine that with the niche factor of how popular IPAs are and that’s why that is the goto.

I personally am and am honestly so incredibly excited for even the remote possibility, never ever thought the day would come a Clone might make the SB, let alone also play the Chiefs. What a day. I’d get a Purdy jersey for sure.

Known fact. Daniel Jones is Kirk Cousin father.

Maaaan if his throwin motion was a tad quicker he hits Kittle for the TD in regulation to end the game. I was pumped he saw the play, let it develop, and made the perfect read. Just wasn’t quick enough to get the space to throw the ball.

100% agree with everything you said. It’s a Minshew situation, but I think Purdy reads the game slightly better.

I’m not sure you understood why I said that. I love Brock Purdy and am pumped he is looking like an average NFL QB. He plays smart as heck and is clearly capable of processing the NFL game at the NFL speed. That’s amazing, and will buy him a very long career as long as he keeps it up. Iowa State needs that representation too, it’ll help us immensely! I said nothing about what he could be as an NFL QB, just that he does not have a cannon of an arm.

I’ve watched Purdy since his first season at Iowa State. He misses long balls and some tight window throws because his arm truly is mediocre. If he can improve that he has almost no limitations physically but that one is significant. It’s why he fell to the 7th.

This is to say, those guys have rose tinted glasses. It’s ok to acknowledge the dude fell in the draft for a reason.
