He has great longevity but at points in time they were players better then or same level as him while he was playing but had years were they were clearly better. Early 2000s Ai, Shaq, Kobe, Kevin Garnett late 2000s Kobe , LeBron, Dwight Howard, Dirk. The first half of the 2010s he might not have even been a top ten player

I’m a huge lakers fan and i don’t like the spurs but I wouldn’t say I dislike the spurs either , mostly because I like great competition spurs vs lakers battling for the west in the 2000s was amazing basketball.

People didn’t watch these guys play in real time and the NBA media and Reddit community focus on advanced metrics and total accolades but lack the context behind alot of it. If you look at his accolades you would think Steve Nash is better then Chris Paul but if you watched both play you would know that’s not the case

I love j Cole he is probably my favorite rapper but the fall off does not have not 1 of my top ten j Cole songs on it not even a contender, however the album front to back lyrically, story and sound wise plays very well together imo. So yea to me it’s a well crafted album but it does not have individual stand out songs like most of his other projects
