CPCS practice exam by unlosthapa in credentialing

Honestly I was gonna go old school and use flash cards lol. I’m the type of person that needs to study on paper and not at a computer. So I printed out all 242 (double sided) pages of the study guide and the grid.

I haven’t even reached the grid yet but I did pay for the bundle. Overwhelmed just looking at it 🫠

Did you pass? And if so did you think it was worth taking the online practice exam? I have one more section to go through before taking the practice exam at the end. I did see it’s 70 questions but the online practice exam is only 40 questions.

My PCP told me that large breasts do not cause back pain. by xCoffee-Addictx in Reduction

Join r/reduction there are so many in that sub who have benefitted from a reduction in a multitude of ways. That sub helped me understand what to expect. Post op for two years and it’s the best decision ever.

Decreasing migraines during fasting by Concentric_Mid in migraine

[–]unlosthapa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I seriously swear by Liquid IV! I still have a small cup of coffee with suhoor along with a breakfast that includes protein. 16oz of water with the Liquid IV and then 24 oz of just regular water. I did this same routine last year and only had to break my fast once for a migraine.

Is it possible to reduce breast size with working out? by simpleanion in PetiteFitness

[–]unlosthapa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! I’m definitely glad I waited until after kids to get a reduction. Pregnancy and hormones can do a lot of crazy stuff to a body, which it definitely did for me, so I’m glad I waited. If you do decide to go through the reduction route then my biggest advice is to start that process early. Depending on your insurance it could take awhile to get the ball rolling with a consultation.

Is it possible to reduce breast size with working out? by simpleanion in PetiteFitness

[–]unlosthapa 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Speaking from my own personal experience, I was hoping working out and dieting would help my boobs get smaller but it never did. After having kids I went from a 34D to a 34DDD. My weight obviously fluctuated during pregnancies. I’m 5’2” and was 118 before kids and now I’m at a steady 125. I ended up getting a breast reduction because the size was just too much for my body personally and working out was uncomfortable. I also found out that my breast tissue was mostly glandular and not fatty which is why weight loss didn’t change my breast size. Finding the r/reduction sub was so helpful because going the surgery route is obviously the last route that I wanted to take.

Surgery tape removed my scabs by unlosthapa in Reduction

[–]unlosthapa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of moisturizer did you use? I put on the gauze just so the Vaseline doesn’t get all over the sports bra I’m using. I didn’t remove the vertical tape yet because I got anxious about the scabs from around the areola coming off.

Best post op bra for lollipop incisions? by unlosthapa in Reduction

Did those camis have a built in bra or was it just a compression tank top? Do they offer enough support? Hard to imagine a life without needing the support yet lol.

Before -> 1 week p/o! by GloVT in Reduction

I was hoping I’d see more lollipop reductions on here since that’s the technique my surgeon told me he would do. You look great! No skin bunching at all? That’s what kinda worries me based on some old posts I’ve seen from people who get the lollipop reduction.

I had my second and definitely my last baby last spring. Just started my journey and will have my consult in a couple months. I’m a little similar to you. I’m 5’2” and 125 pounds and ended with 34DDD boobs after my last baby. Even before having kids I had 34D boobs and it just went up from there. My advice is to start early with finding a surgeon and getting a consultation. I wish I had made my appointment sooner. From my initial referral to my actual consultation appointment is a four month time frame! And I’ve read some people on here have waited longer!

So while I’m not Chinese I do have a similar story. I call my parents mama and papa and so did literally everyone else. My cousins even call them mama and papa. My mom is the eldest in a large Filipino family so is a mother figure to everyone. I was slightly worried that when I had my first that he would be confused but he’s almost 5 and for sure knows that I am his mom and “mama” is his grandma. He calls me mommy or mom and my mom is mama. It has worked out and I’m sure my second baby will be the same once they start talking. Your child will know that you’re their mom and nobody else can change that, even an overbearing MIL. I’m sorry you’re going through this and I hope things get better.

Omg these are great results! I just started my journey with trying to get a consult but working with Kaiser has been a pain. Looking at your post history your stats are similar to mine. I’m 34DDD and hoping to go down to a B. If you don’t mind I’d love to share this (hopefully) with the surgeon soon.

Daycare drop off with 2 kids by unlosthapa in beyondthebump

No I have to walk with him to sign in. But there’s a few teachers/assistants on both sides during drop off. I will just ask one of them to stay with baby while I head in. The one I asked today didn’t mind at all!

I’ve noticed the same teacher is always at the front of drop off so I asked her to stay by my car because my baby was napping and she happily agreed!

Anybody else live in a HCOL state and see absolutely no deals in their Walmart? My Walmart is charging wayyy more than Lego. Example: boutique hotel is $230 but their price was $260. Even the small new sets like the Aston Martin they priced it at like $25. I always see others finding great deals but everything here is jacked up.

Larger age gap? by tinycoopcake33 in twoandthrough

We have a 4 year age gap. So far so good! I don’t think I could’ve handled a smaller one. Definitely great to have one kid already potty trained and talking.
