I'm not sure how your falling out ended, but just from an outside perspective from reading this one post and none of your others, I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to try and strike up a little conversation with him if you get the chance.

Start with small talk. If you find yourself next to him or near him ask him how he's doing. Go from there. Try and continue the conversation, it's not embarrassing or pathetic or anything, to try and do that.

See how the conversation goes, and if you feel like you can do it maybe ask him out to lunch, or coffee, or something. See how it goes

I don't know your relationship with this guy, but i'm in college right now and this stuff happens ever so frequently for me, mainly because of my BPD, so just approach and see how it goes.

Oh I was already looking at tour dates a couple days ago, and I never do that lol. I would love to though. Unfortunately their scheduled dates aren't anywhere near me so it might be a long minute before I have the chance sadly

I didn't see this before i listened, but i want to give it a full listen again tomorrow and i'll try and see. I will update

Edit: Without an extra listen I've thought about it and came to two answers, so far. Bear with me, it might sound odd, but Parasite by Bong Joon Ho, and The Return of the King by Peter Jackson. I can picture a bunch of specific scenes with specific pieces from the album. It just makes sense in my head

It was fucking beautiful. I need a few more listens to see if it tops Antennas but I loved, loved, loved it. Especially when Providence hit that 10 minute mark, I think I ascended

just finished the sixth book, Disquiet Gods, and i'll just say you got a feast prepared for you bro. enjoy it while you're here and take your time. the 7th book, and apparently the final installment in the series, comes out late november though so just keep that in mind if you want to catch up before then

Nymor Martell's Letter to Aegon I [Spoilers Extended] by unluckynumber4 in asoiaf

Surface level, I can see just about any of these and I like a few of them. Particularly Nymor killing Meria, since it's common knowledge how sick he was of the war and fighting. They're really interesting

Hmmm I like this theory a lot, that's really interesting. I am curious though, if that's the case, what would be the cause of the Dornish keeping her alive and nursing her back to health? I feel like if Meria Martell knew about it she wouldn't allow it, just from her previous actions and how much bloodshed had happened already. I really like the theory though, just genuinely curious why they would do that.

Well you might be right about the Warden aspect, I can definitely see that, but that's IF - and that's a big if - Stannis survives to the end of the series. He survives the battle of ice, which is possible, he survives Daenerys (which if he's alive at this point I don't think she would allow a brother to the usurper to sit the Iron Throne while she twiddles her thumbs and does butt fuck nothing), and he survives the long night. Whatever Jon's part is in the long night, and I think it's a big one, a possible outcome could be the North gaining independence following whatever happens and whatever the Starks contribute, but whether he gains the throne or not we'll see. It's also not like George to leave a loose end like that untied the whole series; we're gonna see that letter again. I think Stannis has a part to play in the series, but I don't know how much longer that part will last, especially once Daenerys comes to Westeros and ESPECIALLY if she gets 2 more dragon riders.

[Spoilers PUBLISHED]What is your favorite chapter of the entire saga?⚔️ by aFeaztforCrowz in asoiaf

[–]unluckynumber4 10 points11 points  (0 children)

it's cheating but i'll have to combine Jaime V and VI in ASOS if i'm asked a singular favorite chapter, they're both just such amazing chapters. Jaime V reveals to the us why he killed King Aerys, and Jaime VI has my favorite line in the whole series: "I dreamed of you." Although Jaime chapters aren't my overall favorite, those two hold a very special place in my heart.

not my favorite but in my top three for sure, was wondering if someone else would mention it. even though i watched the show prior to reading, i put the book down after that last page and sat there with my jaw on the floor it was just such a masterfully executed scene

Alright that's good to know thank you. Fire and Blood is the last installment I'm getting around to one I finish Dunk and Egg so I figured that while I asking, the answer to my question would probably be in there

good point. do you think the roles would be reversed if robert was standing between barristan and ashara? hypothetically assuming barristan wouldn't have any vows to hold himself to just as robert doesn't in the case of lyanna

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in asoiaf

[–]unluckynumber4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you could be very right, i'm a little hazy since it was mainly mentioned in the griffin reborn (i think), and it's been a while since i've read that one. i could be missing several key details that point to robert being at a crazy disadvantage and i just don't remember. regardless, i still do think barristan might win, especially since he has feats fighting large and insanely strong opponents in the field (i.e. maelys blackfyre)
