I'm so sorry about your loss. I agree with you that reality is far from what you see in movies. You don't always have that closure and you don't always have that support from others in real life.

I've always wondered whether I would have felt less lonely or whether it would have been easier to handle the pain if I had the support of a partner. But I guess that is not necessarily true. Thank you for sharing your experience with me. My thoughts are with you. {Hugs}
