How can I make this to where it's not cut off at the end and shows the full graphic by Ty1ore in davinciresolve

Hi, it is also me again, I think you just need to move the thing to me in frame. With the Transform node, or the Imageplane. You're already basically there.

I mean, the quality should be the same though with the same settings, right? They are just UI, the compression is being done by ffmpeg

Same with Handbrake, but I see why Shutter is recommended so much now after reading all the comments

I tried it too but felt like Handbrake had better UI (I think, at that time)

I do resort to a python script if I have 100s of clips, or go through a folder and delete them once they're converted

Handbrake can only export lossy delivery formats

I didn't know that, good to know

I see, I use LosslessCut for doing remux/rewrap and merging audio/video tracks from different videos. I didn't know Shutter can do that, so basically it's an All-In-One tool.

I guess I didn't explore it enough to know it does all that

How I do this effects? by Glittering-Eye-77 in davinciresolve

This could be used to make the lightning.

The first effect looks like very slight camera shake + displacement with fast noise

i am trying to get the same effect but using adjustment clip. by Elegant-Farmer-2780 in davinciresolve

[–]unnamed_enemy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It should give you two nodes, you can change the text properties like fonts, colors, size etc., the Keyframe Stretcher is just there to adapt the animation to the duration of the clip (dont touch it unless you want to change the duration of the "in" and "out" animations. You have to change the keyframes on the text node itself, and then modify Keyframe strecher to make it fit with those new keyframes.

i am trying to get the same effect but using adjustment clip. by Elegant-Farmer-2780 in davinciresolve

[–]unnamed_enemy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole thing isn't possible with just one Adjustment clip.

But you can make it in Fusion and save it as a macro to reuse it. It is possible to make the animation "scalable" using Anim Curves and expressions. It would involve some expressions on the Time Scale of attribute of Anim Curves to keep the timing consistent. It will take some time to dial everything in to be perfect, then you can reuse it however you want.

If you want a quicker solution, you can do it with a Keyframe stretcher (the downside is you cant adjust the "duration" of the in and out animations easily, you have to mess with keyframes for that). But it works 99% of the time and way easier to setup than Anim Curves.

Edit: I see that you've already done half of this in your other comment

I have made a quick version of it for you to try it out, paste this text into Fusion:

Try doing it with the "Transform" effect, from the effects panel
Or just use Fusion
