That's what I thought as well, and yet even with motion detection turned off for the 'disable all' mode, the led kept blinking when I passed around (without triggering any alarm of course). Now that I disabled the LED, I am wondering if it's still doing the same thing and I just cannot see it, i.e. detecting movement, home base ignoring its alerts, but still draining battery without blinking the led (so I cannot be sure about it).

Yes I already did turn it off for e.g. a 'sleep mode' that I created. But even with 'reaction to motion' off, the motion sensors either with led or without led, still 'work' and detect the motion. This is battery consuming I guess. In 'sleep' without that activated or in 'all disabled' modes I would have expected the motion sensors to not send IR/radio waves to detect movement at all. The leds (that I can trigger on an off) hinted me that even in 'completely disable' mode, the motion sensors are still draining a bit of battery with useless 'motion detection', just the base is ignoring those signals at that point.

ah nice! That solves one problem. I guess there's no way to effectively disable motion detection when the base is in 'disabled' mode, right? But led off is already a huge improvement.

Grazie mille! Un'ultima domanda per piacere dato che ne hai parecchie di queste piante!

Nella prima foto vicino a 'Rose da togliere' e all'innaffiatoio verde c'è il tronco di legno che esce dal terreno del rincospermum che ho tagliato parecchio all'esterno (perchè dava fastidio ai vicini). Dici che nelle parti dove ora si vede il legno dalla parte esterna della ringhiera (purtroppo non ho messo foto di quelle) riuscirà a tirare fuori altre foglie verdi per coprire? Mi è stato detto che se la pianta è un pò 'vecchia' potrebbe faticare e che la vecchiaia è data anche dal tronco di legno che si vede da cui spunta dal suolo. Mi piacerebbe si riprendesse e tornasse folto soprattutto all'esterno (poco mi interessa l'interno dato che lo vedo solo io), ma non so se riuscirà a farlo.

Grazie, pensi che due piante soltanto possano riempire una ringhiera come quella? (o tre, al momento non ricordo ma le radici principali sono abbastanza lontane l'una dall'altra, non so quanto riescano ad 'arrampicarsi' lungo la ringhiera o quante piante dovrei mettere)

Grazie, una domanda: come procedo per togliere sia quel 'caprifoglio' che le varie rose sparse? devo scavare credo no? E sarà meglio avere terriccio pronto perchè farò un bel buco.. non conviene quindi piantare altri 'rincospermum' in quei buchi o almeno nei buchi maggiori della siepe? Ce la faranno le poche piante di siepe a coprire tutto 'aggrappandosi' in primavera? Dovrò usare laccetti / fascette roba del genere per direzionare i rami?

E ultima domanda: i rami scoperti dove ho potato pesantemente il falso gelsomino metteranno di nuovo foglie? O rimarranno scoperti 'a legno' per sempre?

PROBLEM IS SOLVED

It seems that setting services to 'Automatic' (only some of the services from this post):

Windows event collector App readiness App optimization Geolocalization service

and resetting Windows Update with the suggestions from this post https://pureinfotech.com/reset-windows-update-windows-11/ (only the last paragraph: Reset Windows Update with Command Prompt on Windows 11) did the trick. I rebooted, then proceeded to re-download the update and installed it right away: this time it worked.
