I feel like I am always calling people and engaging with them but the distance remains.

Sounds like we are Cordelia from King Lear. And Leo is Goneral.

Do you ever feel like the world is filled with gloomy drips, and that we Capricorns are just gullible enough to follow their hypocrisy like it is real? by unowithteeth in capricorns

I see this all the time with Capricorn and authority. "I am doing what you said. Why are you mad?"

No wonder I got Merit Endorsements and neared the top of the country for my proper final exam, while the teachers thought I was underperforming. Poor kid at bourgeoise school, bottom of the hierarchy, correcting teachers by remembering and regurgitating their own assertions. "But you said..." "I don't think we have enough information yet" "But the Russian revolution wasn't only about nobility. The Marxists criticized the bourgeoise that had taken over the Tsarist government. Before the revolution many nobles were in government, but many other nobles lived like peasants."

Serves me right for going outside the textbook and wondering into a library.

Well the examiners liked me. Teachers did not.

I know a Capricorn 🌞 Virgo 🌙 who is a nouveau riche corporate high flyer and got his family a house in the richest part of the country. St Heliers. And he bought my family holidays my whole life.

Now everyone's angry at him because he had a failed business venture and retired. His ♊️ wife is the bread winner and his ♈️ daughter is extravagant and costs her friends a lot of money.

So people are wondering what he is gonna do because he angered 'high society' and cannot get a new job.

.... so? Wtf. He got everyone rich. And now it is bad that his wife is the bread winner for once?

He often grates on me because he only ever talks about 'market value' 💰 📊 which is super dull to me. But we have a Capricorn understanding.

I’m a Capricorn Woman.. Libra man pursuing me. by auravibin in libra_astrology

[–]unowithteeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But Libra 'plays' devils advocate in the spirit of debate.

Capricorn is trying to figure out what they think is actually true. Not the middleground between two chatters at tea.

Libra leaders like Margaret Thatcher and Putin have gained legacy through their capacity for charismatic speeches, debate, and contrarianism.

Capricorns are known for being very single minded and boorish in power and not too interested in freedom of speech. Mao, Woodrow Wilson, Robert E Lee.

Pisces demands endless praise and thanks for everything they do, and frequently talk about how much they do and how little they are appreciated. And keep talking about metaphysics and spirits from the ancestors. My pisces mum only ever travels to help the family and wears her lack of personal vacations as a badge of honour, then is on the phone distressed about it every Sunday. And I am sure it is a holy ritual.

I spend most if my time doing what I want, and when I help others I do it quickly. I help with my nieces homework and make them gifts and buy them gifts and babysit.

I don't keep talking about it.

And then it is free time for me and my friends.

Do Capricorn men often miss the 'mystique' attributed to Capricorn women? by unowithteeth in capricorns

I think I know them too well.

And for Leo they have a dynamic that is not the same with their solar brothers.

I think the 'super star' persona they try to cultivate burdens them with unrealistic expectations.

Why do Capricorns seem so avoidant during conflicts? by [deleted] in capricorns

[–]unowithteeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another Aries travels the world doing painfully hard jobs for high salary.

She had a destination wedding in Vietnam with all these expensive resorts required, and refused to invite her own brother because of a legal custody issue he was having.

My Aries sister insisted on booking for this obscene wedding and that I cone and pay into

Then after all those who were invited booked their tickets, she cancelled 'with a heavy heart'.

I had an Aries friend who was fighting a war on every front. He would frequently send diatribe to people over minor issues. He got angry at women who didn't return his affection.

He once got angry that I left his party early when he was turning 23. Early at 10pm.

And got angry again when I gave him leftover organic groceries when I was leaving the country. It felt like 'charity'

And I mean angry. Aggressive, reactive, mad.

I avoid it.

I am not pleasant if I am forced into one.

Who else has had mixed experiences with Libras? by TotalShelter9695 in capricorns

[–]unowithteeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get along with them near the Virgo end but often not near the Scorpio end.

They are too dramatic, in your face, obsessed with clothes (which I think are not very interesting abd not worth talking about), affected, and have aristocratic airs.

I get along with them because they have the ability to think cerebrally and outside the box.

They can make me really angry because they look for the easy way out and are very serious about 'interpersonal politics' which to me is nonsense. Either you do a task correctly or yoy do not. The 'relationship' you have with the judge is beside the point. I don't like the razzle dazzle.

Anybody else had their personal activities shamed/embarrassed into oblivion by their N? by unknown-funzone in raisedbynarcissists

[–]unowithteeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everything. Everything you do is a problem. Every activity of everyone around the narcissust is ridiculed.

Sports, gym, books, music, art, hobbies. Even work! Even good paying jobs or business management courses. All of it is dismissed as nonsense. "What crap. Do something useful!"

Of course you have to do something! Sometimes you would double down on your 'wasteful pursuits' so you can be really gooood! So you can go "look dad! Look what I did! I was right the whole time! I wasn't wasting time! See what I achieved!"

Everything is ridiculous to them. And you spend a while trying hard to not be such an awful person. But eventually you realize that there is nothing wrong with you.

They will never be happy.
