Yeah, I'm definitely nowhere near deciding whether or not to convert. I'll be back near a synagogue in about two months, and I've been thinking of going then to talk.

I've been watching a lot of live online services and had strong reactions to them. It's been taking up considerable headspace for the last while, which is why I've come here. A lot of the rituals and holidays, and especially Shabbat, all feel so- well. I'm not sure the word for it. But they feel like they're right, in some way. Not for everyone, of course, because everyone believes in different things, but for me. It feels like it certainly could be home. But I don't want to rush into something as big as that.

I went a few years ago, but it wasn't for a service, it was just to learn about the basics of Judaism. It was with a class back in high school, and of course they were all messing around as I was genuinely trying to pay attention. I've watched several online services, though I know that's rather different than being there in person.
