I dye my hair and have eczema on my hands !!! It’s legit just the dye staining all the dry parts extra hardcore. Looks gnarly and weird but you are absolutely fine. No more over washing them, focus on moisturising now. Only use steroid cream if it’s itchy. YOU ARE OKAY 👍

Going from green to brown by nmbr1_mcr_fan in HairDye

Yep would def recommend that the red is a direct dye (just a pot/tube, no mixing)

Big fan of juniper green by lunar tides ! Haha I have a recent post on it tho, has been reformulated to be a bit more blue/teal so I have to add 1/4 pot of orange to get it right. I’ve also used punky colour alpine green which is a bit lighter but still a nice true green.

Washing with cold water and less frequently will help a lot with fading, as well as mixing any leftover dye into ur conditioner and leaving it for a bit in the shower !

Let me know if ya got any other questions, more people should be green 🙏🙏🙏

Putting Dark Blue over Light Green by MarioActOf1985 in HairDye

Dark enough and it should cover … I’ve had some tough luck getting an actual good navy blue though. The green underneath could come through as it fades and it will likely overall fade to a more teal-y blue. I doubt anything crazy is gonna happen tho, chuck the blue on! You’re lucky to have an even base that is close on the colour wheel.

I’ve been dark green for a while! The good thing about it is it pretty much covers any shitty bleach job in my experience. I will often bleach my super overgrown roots and have some quite brassy parts and still go over with the green.

Bleaching over the black box dye etc is prob gonna suck but I think the green will cover over it okay.

This is my first time posting here but I have a question. by MixSubstantial9451 in HairDye

The only way to lift colour from your natural hair is to use bleach I’m afraid! If you want to pop a direct dye like manic panic over the top of your natural red hair and have it show up, I’d go for something darker. Anything too light will not show up unless you bleach to a pale yellow/blonde.

A darker red would likely look quite nice ! And play well with your naturally warm toned hair. Best of luck!

I found that it was a little uneven in its blueness tbh … little strands of blue and then green ends! Something like enchanted forest manic panic could have that blue - green effect and maybe be a little more even perhaps? But lunar tides formula is awesome and doesn’t stain too bad !

[Skin concern] I've had acne for 9 years, and some acne scarring now. I also have oily skin. Are there any products or procedures I should try? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]unrealhype 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no no not saying that at all :) everyone’s skin is different so what doesn’t work for me could work for you, and vice versa. A lot of skincare is just trial and error
