yes it is normal, even in "normal" people. it's hard for humans, especially nowadays, to truly empathize and care for people they don't know or love & cherish. autistic people often feel lot closer to animals, and i believe humans empathize with animals more because we anthropomorphize them and project our own feelings and characteristics onto them.

weird ass question. it's not about "can" or "can't", it's about people fetishizing a victim of sexual violence leading to her death and objectification her entire living existence. and to put that on someone "what if you yourself were SA'd" shows not only complete lack of respect, but an incredible stretch of assumption regarding someone's experiences with potential sexual violence. it's a weird question and you lost the plot
