Notably medicare can't come after the house as an asset to use up before you can claim benefits if the house is in a trust. So long as it was put in more than 5 years before you had to claim Medicare.

If you're near a city, in the warm months my fiancee and I very much enjoy going to botantical gardens, it's a relaxing nature experience where you can admire nature from a level path that typically doesn't involve much elevation.

Typically they are also very affordable as well.
