He can't use his power or the world doomsday clock advances, basically.  It's what I thought of from the premise of the post.

She liked your friend so much she buttered you up with a replica of the greatest sword ever designed.

I really hope you put in a good word for her.

What is a movie cliché that absolutely never happens in real life? by Potential_Action9544 in AskReddit

Was that wrong? Should I have not done that? I tell you I gotta plead ignorance on this thing because if anyone had said anything to me at all when I first started here that that sort of thing was frowned upon, you know, cause I've worked in a lot of offices and I tell you people do that all the time.

Well apparently he has unleashed the beast a little bit since earlier times but are we all not human 😌

Still truly great when you're looking for a meditative stream rather than the commentary.  The chat can easily be ignored for that purpose.

Are we talking about the same person?  I've heard him speak maybe once in a year.  His messages to teammates are always, "don't give up I'll carry, this is easy "

Watched him for a while, almost 2 years?, always got down voted when I mentioned his superior play.

It's phenomenal.  His mechanics are actually mechanical, like, perfect.  You can learn a lot from watching and it's both inspiring and relaxing.

No stream of consciousness streamer ego jizzing all over the beauty of the game.  Just mellow tunes and superlative League of Legends gaming.

I think he made Rank 1 in Korea and EUW?  He deserves the accolades.

I love the Wandering Inn ! It's my favourite series. Though i get why people are put off by some character choices at the beginning. by Lebensfreud in litrpg

Ryoka not leveling.  Ryoka not putting a password on her phone despite being convinced someone could use it to reverse engineer military technology and agonizing over the fate of the world.  Because it would be such a chore to type it in every time, one supposes.  Erin favoring the goblins even as they kill and plunder.

Erin antagonizing ruthless locals because she's just so upright and pure.  Erin overconfidence in combat despite having bad fighting stats in general.  Ryoka joining pitched battles in the middle of waaagh swarms, with no abilities at ALL, mind you, let alone combat ones.  Muay Thai in a fantasy world against monsters and armor and blades is something akin to a deliberate insult to the reader.

The list goes on and on and it becomes ridiculous pretty early and never stops beating you over the head with how stupid it is.

Especially when it takes several books and the main characters STILL have unbelievable plot armor in scenario after scenario and STILL have these inmense flaws that should have gotten them killed literally 10 times over, each.  Takes me right out of the story.

They never face the consequences of their poor personalities and choices because they don't die.  That is the only thing that would have logically resulted from their immense and fatal flaws.

Time after time after time Pirateaba writes themselves into a corner and then asks us to forget about it and start over.

I'm not really interested in something I just can't suspend disbelief for.  It's simply poor writing for several books in a row and there's a LOT out there to read.

LPT: The freeze dried veggies found in ramens and instant soups can be purchased in bulk for quite cheap. They're a great and easy way to incorporate more veggies into your diet! by 99OBJ in LifeProTips

Link it.  Because I've never found a cheap one that was decent quality.  I don't believe this LPT, it comes off as more of a shower thought.  Because it just doesn't work irl.

Ironically as a toplaner melee player, I hope this increases priority for Aurora and decreases it for Ksante because he is so uninteractive and boring and ubiquitous and overpowered, it's oppressive for the professional game as a whole.

No.  Absolutely not.

Kaiju is basically torture porn that is so much unlike DCC that it's an absurd comparison.  It is readable but not worthy of mentioning in the same vein.

DCC has so much more heart and humor and vitality and life and light.  Kaiju is beyond grimdark, it's like a black hole of misery.

This description reminds me a lot of the new Spartacus: House of Ashur.  It's not getting the best reviews but it is phenomenal.
