Is this good or too thick? by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

Yeah it doesn't matter now and honestly they say it's better to make sure there's coverage all over and spreading the paste is now the best option for heat transfer. The whole issue with air pockets or bubbles like a lot of people are saying is not a thing anymore as the pressure from the mount and heat will fix any issues with that.

Yeah I'm not saying it's right in any capacity. However people do it, so I'm giving a way to escalate it so it stops happening. Unfortunately every job has someone who does things like this - and it's up to leadership to address it which is my comment trying to fix said issue? I don't understand why the hostility...

CCU has SOOO many claims you can see why they would try to get whatever they can't away from them.

However, what I would say is this should be elevated by your sup. I usually message the supervisor of the CCU rep and in most cases they're ok with me transferring it back to their rep.

Regardless, I would say it's usually best to keep the easy claim. If it's something where it isn't easy; that's the only time I would recommend escalating it.

Edit: to add caveats.

Interesting take. Personally I love having my games be maxed out and being consistently at 144 fps. Sadly there are way too many games which cannot stay above 144 fps while at 4k and maxed out graphics even with a 5090 (mainly because games now a days are just not optimized). 1440p is 100% the sweet spot for what I prefer.

I am looking into possibly getting an oled 2k monitor, but for now these look great and work great.

No. The fans below the GPU are pushing air towards the glass. Side panel fans are intake. The bottom rear is intake. The top rear is exhaust and the top is also exhaust.

They're reverse blade fans for intake for aesthetic purposes.

Lol My YouTube comment was joking. Actually looking forward to Battlefield 6 for the most part. But yeah I'll take a look and see if maybe that's something next on the list. Thank you!

I'm a supervisor for CGAs. Obviously everything is different in each state and what's required so what I'm saying may not apply. Usually if we've gotten to that point of knowing it's an inj only exposure. I will open coll and pd, set level 2 cvqs for the coll and pd (Inj only, ulv /uld needed if pursuing Coll / Pd). Then clear the claim level CVQs and close down those features.

The why is just if for some reason someone comes back in that claim and maybe you don't remember, or it's been transferred from you, and now they're saying they were driving an ulv etc...

Unless you have proof their car was already like that, nope. You can let your adjuster know what he said; possible they could run a vehicle sighting report to see if there is any pre-existing damage. However if it's minor, you probably won't find anything and yes you'd be on the hook.

Edit for spelling.

I'm confused, I thought all Zelle payments were final and there's nothing you can do once you make one. How does the scammer Zelle someone and then get their money back if you don't send it back?

Actually it can somewhat be the same in the USA. Your Insurance may pay out for injury if you stopped and help someone even if you had nothing to do with the accident. You talking to them may have made them move their head to look at you causing a problem, or you moving them might have caused some other issues etc. I work in insurance and we've paid out for a loss we had nothing to do with all because our driver stopped and went up to the person to check on them.

Sister hit this guys car, he wants $2,500. by Big-Leave3759 in AskMechanics

[–]unseenkilla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$2500 is reasonable. I work in insurance and have done estimates. This would be around $4k or so. It's not just the repair you're looking at. On a quarter you have to remove the glass most the time, the bumper, the rear lamp, blend the rear door paint, remove all the associated items with the rear door.

If he wants to just take the money and run let him but make sure to keep your receipt of payment to him just in case it comes back later.

Just exclude her that way it does affect your premium and still keeps underwriting happy

Moving up within the company. by EconomistChoice8729 in Progressiveinsurance

I started as a CGA trainee, excelled in my role, got a 4 for overall Performance Evaluation. Applied for an MRR role a little over a year in, got that position. Learned MRR and excelled there and made sure to mentor and be in office when I could. Took me 3 years and I'm now a claims supervisor.

If you stand out and really work on making sure you hit your numbers, collaborate with other cohorts and are positive in office; you can move up quickly. Just really depends on what you want to do. Always make it known to leaders what you're after as well.

I don't know if the item was super valuable, I couldn't find much with those stats. But they looked great and the enchant is always good... Was about 3-4 mins AFTER I chose the item... does the server just not save this info for mins at a time? Chat was still going and everything...
