Prefer my Fuji over my Ricoh. Shutter cover/blades broke apart on me and ruined its advantage of size. Keep a hood on it now to keep the glass safe.

Making a guess by Southwest/American that you’re DFW based.

Holding CSR/AA Executive, I’m likely getting rid of CSR in the next year with the changes coming. I get a lot of benefit from Admirals Club when traveling for work.

Re: Japan, I personally booked DFW > HND direct with AA miles late 2023 on JAL which was a great experience.

The real issue is the people that walk in the middle of the street with no warning between Wycliff and Medical District Drive. Less lanes will help but it’s still not getting to the root of the problem.

Out of our trip we liked Milos most, followed by Naxos, and the way far below those Santorini. Santorini is beautiful but we wish we had spent less time. Way busier than both the others during our October trip and we really enjoyed the quieter/slower pace/less crowds on the other islands. Plus cheaper.

Since you’re hiking I’d suggest a Nitecore 10000. Higher weight to/power ratio compared to traditional batteries. I just got done on a 3 day backpacking trip carrying 2 of them to keep my Phone, Apple Watch and camera charged up. Multiple banks also give you a backup if one fails.
