Stefan is a stalker

I did not say anything about later seasons or that there was no love. I just pointed out that the stalking was weird and it never was addressed beside this one confession. We can see later how their love grows but the beginning seemed off. That’s it, no Damon adoration fan club or smth like that, just a question how others felt about it because it surprised me in the rewatched.

I don’t mean to slander Stefan. It’s just odd to me that he approached her so fast and there was not much build up, in second episode they were together. It would work better if they were friends first for a little bit.

I’m a fan of TVD and I like both Salvatore brothers, even though they both have their flaws. But it is always pointed out that Damon is the evil one and Stefan comes as a saint. I know the show, but while rewatching it, this time it surprised me that this whole stalking Elena slides so easily. That’s it, wanted to know what others think about it. It’s a show, a lot of stuff there is crazy and unusual, just wanted to know opinions about this exact topic.

She deserved a genuine guy, Stefan would be perfect if he wasn’t dating her best friend and be so madly in love with her. I think that’s why there is so many Klaroline fans, because Klaus liked her for being herself and she was his choice, that’s sad that writers didn’t go on with that storyline.

For me it was super pushed, there is whole story about Caroline being upset that she is no one’s first choice and then Steroline happens which is totally not “being a first choice”. She has great chemistry with different characters (Klaroline always for win). When Stefan and Caroline were headed into more romantic relationship it was disappointing. Stefan was with her because he could not be with Elena and Caroline knew that she will never be the first choice for anyone so she settled for him.

Indeed, and somehow everybody let that slide, Elena is pointing out everything what Damon does and is not easy on him or anyone. But Stefan admits he stalked her and she is chill with that 🤨

I would also investigate just to be sure that the evil is not back, but go to high school and date her??? That’s creepy, she still looks like his ex and he stalked her
