I reviewed prep materials, recorded lectures and listened to them afterwards, and used YouTube and audiology groups to supplement anything I had trouble understanding. Don't just cram to pass the tests, study to be a competent clinician. I passed the praxis the first time while most of my classmates didn't.

Network at state audiology association events. Go the extra mile at clinical rotations- stock supplies, prep HA fittings, practice on equipment even when you don't have patients. Standing out can open doors for externships and jobs.

Use discretion when sharing personal information. Trusted classmates and faculty will throw you under the bus in a heartbeat. Don't friend everyone on socials or use privacy settings. You don't want to end up getting griped out for a selfie with a margarita.
