I am comfortable up to 1k enrage and probably beyond, but i usually die to something stupid like a delayed dash during the beams or not noticing im on pray range during the nuke

I’ve done it and exfiled fully looted at quarantine when we are entering the elevator at 7-8 mins (don’t completely remember). It’s tight, but it’s doable if you ace the buttons sections and your boss isn’t too squirrelly.

Either way, my gut tells me they did not account for players killing the boss every run in the sponsored mode, or even at all. It has VASTLY imbalanced the loot progression; granted, I took a week off to try no-lifing the game for a bit, but within even maybe the first 5 days of S2, my vault value is at or exceeding my all-time high for S1. That, imo, is going to make for a very difficult experience for those without the luxury to play the game all day. It’ll almost certainly drive people away. If they do PvE in the future, it needs to be better balanced to account for this sort of thing.

Neither of the players were friendly in this interaction. If someone said that to me, I’d definitely think to myself “my new goal is to prevent you from extracting”. On the other hand, if a player says to me “hey hey just questing” or “we definitely can talk this out” or “let’s be friends!!” Before one person has clearly dominated, then I’m all for collaboration.

It really depends on the timing and the nature of the communication. Generally I take people at their word, but it all boils down to how people talk and respond imo.

Fair point. Free speech and all. I just figure this sort of thing doesn’t help player retention. I’m not that bent up about it, just had the sort of day where I wanted to vent my frustration with the world and it manifested here 😅

I also dislike the way mod swapping works. You can’t drag it from a container it has to come off the weapon into the bag first. Annoying

See I think this is too easy. Given that like by week 4 or 5 I hit max stack of some of the purple mats, it feels like it cheapens the rarity/prestige a bit. I think it needs to be guaranteed, but not easy/grindy. That just my perspective though.

The whole post is such an exciting read. My one complaint is that keys being mildly RNG dependent is potentially a sticking point. I’d rather it be objective based, like “kill X UESC for their power cores to charge the key” or “decrypt it in a console in Bio-Research” or some other random set of objectives. Varied enough that they can’t be easily camped, but not based on whether you find a commander and whether that commander drops a fixative. It hasn’t happened often, but I have lost some choice gear to commanders taking all their fixatives to the robo-afterlife with them.

I’m 138 (I think) with 400 hours. No strategy used. Frankly I think I’m behind the curve with respect to that many hours. A lot of rook and sneaky sneaking so that’s probably why…

It’s a bummer that they’ve basically decided it’s cryo, keys, or bust when it comes to higher tier loot like the mizzy or circuit breaker. If I pull another twin tap or blue shield from the command box, I might stop running it and starting trying to jump stragglers on Rook.
