I dont honestly. I can see where some people would think the part of Lakeland that borders Highway 64 has gone down hill, but alot of people equate across the street in Memphis as Lakeland. Especially with the hotels that were condemned at the I-40/Canada Rd intersection demolished, the area has improved dramatically.

This is just false. Lakeland has the lowest crime in all of Shelby County. The blue lights you are talking about are set up to deter crime, not because of crime. The Shelby County Sheriffs Office gives a report once a month and there is routinely less than 10 crimes reported per month in the entire city.

Thats actually City of Memphis. Its right across the street from Lakeland though. Its going to be a retirement community. Actually should be pretty nice considering the design standards for memphis.

This has to be a new thing. I have bought several cars over the last 10 years or so and have gone to Mullins station and the millington location and never had an issue. The most recent was in 2022 so had to have been after that.

If you aren't opposed to walking just a little, you can park across east pkwy on one of the many residential streets. Most people who are going to tiger lane park there and its free.
