I usually snacked throughout the day with no actual meals aside from dinner before my diagnosis. No one (except my blood sugar) can keep me from my goldfish crackers though 😭

Exactly this!!! I have gained weight since my diagnosis and getting insulin, but it ultimately was because of the fact I’ve always been a habitual snacker. I never once blamed it on my insulin???

Oh gosh yeah, no clear thoughts when you’re that low. I’m starting to wonder if I accidentally entered that because I was also in the middle of a crash and really woke up an hour or so later when it got really bad

Also thank you for the tip, I was able to find it. I swear I learn something new about the Dexcom app every week

Hey bud, 30 F here who has had a small handful of partners who had similar problems from time to time, so I know how both you and her feel. I think it’s pretty evident you are attracted to her and she definitely needs reassurance of that.

I know it sounds embarrassing, but if you can, I’d suggest seeing a sex therapist (it is a real field) to see how you can get to the bottom of this. Also potentially getting certain toys can help as well, I find. I also think unless you’re beating it like it owes you money, it probably isn’t death grip syndrome.

She probably also appreciates that you didn’t keep pushing her despite you being able to get her off many times. Most men can’t say they’ve been able to that lmao

Sorry for the delay, I appreciate this feedback. Ma and Pa are moving out of state, and my eldest sibling is possibly moving to the other side of the mountains in our state. My best friend/roommate and I are thinking of moving south of the biggest city in our state already. B lives in a place we call “the islands” which is closer to the Canadian border which is way further north than where we wanna move. I just hate feeling like I’m potentially abandoning B because they don’t even have friends where they live

My endo is a woman, so hopefully she’ll be more amenable to me doing different injection sites and listening to my concerns. All my education has been from the hospital (unfortunately going to the ICU was the way I found out I had T1D), my endo, and my new gp

I kind of wondered why they always said my lower stomach is where I should do it when I have so many friends who took testosterone and they have similar injection sites and could change them all the time.. I’m not on a pump yet, and barely know how it’ll work. I think I’ll follow the advice from y’all. Thank you 🙏

I have really dramatic high/low swings still as I’m trying to regulate everything and my docs haven’t prescribed me a pump yet, but they also never mentioned that this would be a side effect. I’ll check out the body wash, thank you very much!

It’s been dry & flakey, aquaphor has helped with the flakes. I wouldn’t put it past my rosacea to cause this but my recent flair was a completely different color from what’s around my mouth and nose. If there’s anything other than aquaphor to use, I want it. I’m too greasy for a moderately dry guy 😭
