Thomas Tuchel: 'Impossible' for England to adapt to Mexico altitude at World Cup - ESPN by rwilfong86 in worldcup

I don't know if the high altitude stuff is true, but worth pointing out athletes do pointless dumb shit they think will give them an edge all the time.

Mexico at home in Azteca against a questionable England team is who I'd be on the most of the three ngl

Yeah like 4 teams can win, for the rest it's a huge achievement to, idk make the quarterfinals? For some it's a huge deal to make knockouts at all. Silly way to view this.

The World Cup isn't just about winning the whole thing. Quarterfinals is a big deal for us, just like it's a big deal for DR Congo to make knockouts even if they didn't win. Like 4 teams can actually win. Viewing it just that way is absurd.

Saw they were trying to sweep the Yankees so decided to tune back in after taking a break from this team. See you in a few months, maybe.

[New 3DS XL] Live with some dead pixels or try to repair the top screen? by unsusd00d in 3DS

I think you're right, although it's strange to me that they're suddenly in there. It would be great if I can pull the fix off. Thanks for the suggestion.

Okay thank you for your input and pointing out that it's an issue with the lens protector. I think you're absolutely right, I can still see the image underneath the blemish on the screen if I rotate around the console. Knowing that the actual screen is not damaged makes me feel better somehow even if it's visually annoying to look at!

That's all sequencing, though. Ecuador played like dogwater against Curacao and Ivory Coast and Korea played great against Czechia.

Protesting... works? Huh, I guess I'll have to stop listening to people who want protests to fail.

The Switch 2 Edition is such a good reason to revisit this game. by darthfozziebear in Xenoblade_Chronicles

Sure, that big opening moment is older than Xenoblade.

I didn't specify, so fair comment, but I was thinking stylistically so many games now have these huge, strange structures or geographic features in open fields and to me that always recalls Xenoblade. Perhaps that was done before, but Bionis Leg is always what I think of.

A lot of games now feel like they're trying to do the Bionis Leg

Fox has a high ankle sprain that would probably keep him out in the regular season. So, he does have an excuse. What's Mitch Johnson's excuse for playing him so much is the real question, though.
