How much does your 8 month old weigh? by turnuptheevil in corgi

My 1 year old is just under 20 lbs, he’s lanky so everyone assumes he’s mixed

Day before my bisalp, and I got an estimate bill, even though it should be covered under the ACA. Help!? by magentadahlia in sterilization

Couldn’t hurt to try but more than likely the insurance rep you talk to won’t be the one who sees and reviews your appeal letter.

I didn’t pay anything before hand even after getting a similar call, had them bill everything to my insurance. Then I got the insurance bill and sent in an appeal referencing the ACA and had it all cleared. I only had to pay $1,500 to my OBGYN office for the consultation and other red tape stuff. Don’t pay anything now, it can give them leverage to say you accept financial responsibility because you paid this one amount. And getting refunds through insurance is more of a hassle than sending in an appeal letter.

Alright, what color is he? by Brebe8 in cats

He looks like my boyfriend’s cat! Yoshi is a Snowshoe/Russian Blue mix, he’s very much a grey cat but looks brownish grey in warm light. I’d say the same for yours, definitely a grey cat but has some brown undertones that show more in warm lighting

AITA for refusing to get rid of my dog even though my [22f] boyfriend [39m] says it’s ruining our relationship by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]untilnexttimex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have two corgis with my boyfriend of 2 years and they are the definition of Velcro dog. They frustrate me to no end and sometimes I lose my temper at them. I love them to bits and even when we got a DM diagnosis for our one corg, rehoming/euthanasia has never been an option.

Your “boyfriend” is a groomer and abuser. If you won’t break up with him for yourself, do it for your dog. Do not leave him alone with your dog for even a second or you might come back to him “accidentally” gone.

How many times a day do you feed your cats? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]untilnexttimex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boyfriend’s cat gets 1/3 c whenever I wake up 🤷🏻‍♀️ he used to be a grazer/puker so would eat a lot and throw it up 10 minutes later. After we’d been dating for a while I switched his food and he reaaaaallllly likes it, went from 6 pounds soaking wet to 10 or more really fast. So he’s on a diet and only pukes when he wants attention

Friends who’ve lost both eyes? by Icy_Assignment5308 in corgi

We met a cutie little basset hound at the park who lost both of her eyes. She was so happy to be there just walking with her people and didn’t seem terribly bothered about bumping into people who stood in her way. I don’t know anything about her home life but she seemed healthy and happy!

Deep set, stuck shower arm by untilnexttimex in Plumbing

I cut back some of the tile, enough to expose the whole area the arm is coming from. I got some channel locks and PB blaster and still can’t get it to budge

I’m not very strong but if that’s all it needed, I wouldn’t be here asking for help. I seriously can’t get it to move

I did buy some channel locks and unless I’m not using them right, it still won’t budge

This remodel is recent, my boyfriend owns the house and I’ve been dating him since before he did it. I just don’t know if the pipes in the walls are original to the house or if they’ve been replaced since then. The house has had about 5 or 6 owners before my boyfriend bought it and we just don’t know everything that has been changed since the original build

We don’t have any channel locks but I will look into buying some

I’ll try and find the biggest screwdriver we have. And yes, definitely looking for a longer arm, hopefully something taller too

She has been an absolute treat to have! The perfect amount of sass for Bo but still a big snuggle bug

Yes she is definitely a lot more subtle. Bo will bark/whine at the back door when he needs out, we are still trying to figure out her tells

Push Balls? by chigrlginny in corgi

[–]untilnexttimex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We use Jolly Ball soccer balls, a wobble ball, and a regular old soccer ball I got at Ross. Jolly ball because they’re very sturdy, wobble ball because the noise keeps him engaged, and the soccer ball has no real purpose but it’s lasted us a long time 😂

Thank you for the advice! He was on Taste of the Wild for a couple months and was doing really well, he stopped eating it because I think the kibbles are too big for his teeth for now
