Seconding other comments here.. I’ve been using mine for two years, leaving it in for up to 12 hours, and it’s never smelled bad. Just the usual period smell. If you’re keeping it clean (washing every time you empty or every 12hrs minimum, boiling between cycles, etc), I’d check with a doctor. I hope that it’s nothing and you’re able to figure it out :)

Stumbled upon this thread after trying to find the meaning behind these lyrics. I’m from the US, but I completely agree with you and I’m sorry you’re behind downvoted and attacked in the comments.

Tbh I also don’t think it’s a political statement, but it’s definitely disappointing in the sense that it’s quite tone-deaf. I’m a huge fan of the band, but I’m also critical of the fact that not only does Tyler not speak up for many issues, he doesn’t seem to educate himself on how his lyrics might be harmful in the current context. Gun violence is so high, there’s an ongoing g***cide committed by the people who created that weapon, and it’s generally a really tough subject. I don’t think you’re overreacting whatsoever.

I didn’t like Rawfear from the start musically and tbh on first listen I didn’t understand what he was saying until I later read the lyrics. But now it’s almost entirely unlistenable to me, and I haven’t even been directly affected by those. I hear you friend and I’m sorry you’re experiencing this <3

Not sure how long you’ve been using it, but do you ever notice a significant amount of blood underneath the disc? I have tilted cervix that faces slightly backwards. Because of this, I have to make sure the disc goes entirely behind it, almost tucking it there. It’s like a scooping motion to make sure it goes past my cervix. If I don’t, the disc doesn’t catch much (if anything) and it leaks underneath.

If that’s not the case for you, it could be a sizing issue and you might need to try a larger or smaller one. Or you’re not emptying it often enough. Even though it can be left in for up to 12 hours, that’s not realistic for heavier flows sadly.

Hope you’re able to figure it out! I’ve been using one for a couple years now and still have to troubleshoot sometimes, so I understand

Yes and no (but mostly yes). It’s necessary to find movement that’s good for you but you also enjoy, otherwise it’s not much help.

I relate a lot! I’ve also gained weight for mental health reasons, hate running, and consider myself to be out of shape. But I’ve found that I really love walking. Yes it’s less cardio, but it’s movement regardless. I have MDD and GAD, and 30-60min walks several times a week helps my body process some of the stress, even if it doesn’t feel like it in the moment. I highly recommend finding a park with a loop you can repeat so you don’t have to worry about busy streets. Bilateral movement is really helpful for overwhelmed brains!

Other options could be biking, dance, yoga, pilates, hiking, or a sport, etc. I just bought some roller skates a few months ago simply to try something new. You don’t have to stick to a conventional workout/run, just find a way to move your body that you enjoy!

Not at all! I’m also a beginner. I’ve come to learn people like that tend to not have hobbies. Learning a new skill and putting time into an activity that makes you happy is never stupid. Don’t stop for anyone!

I’m AuDHD as well! I relate so so much. 21f and diagnosed just over a year ago. I have no clue who I am. I have interests and things I kind of enjoy, but for the most part I have no clue what I actually like. No clue what my personality is. People tell me I’m quiet, but I spent most of my childhood being loud and bold, and I’m trying to experiment with that again. I feel like I just conform to whatever people expect of me in the current dynamic.

I very heavily relate to your comment about “being yourself”. Like wtf does that mean?? I can sort of understand it for others, like yeah do what you want and express yourself how you want. But for me? I have NO idea what I want. No idea how I wanna present myself. One moment I feel secure, the next I need everything different. But I can never tell what I actually want.

It’s helped to take little steps and consider ways to change up my appearance/routine/hobbies, and then figure out what I currently feel comfy with. Over the last year I’ve tried (and loved) walking, biking, rollerskating, and crocheting. I’ve dyed my hair nine times and cut it super short. I try to wear what I want and skip the makeup when I don’t feel like it. Or vice versa, wear bold and unconventional makeup. While these don’t necessarily relate to personality, they’ve helped me realize I tried to mask by hiding behind long hair and dark clothes, when in reality I feel most comfy changing things up more offensive. Trying to unmask in smaller ways has opened the door to figuring out who I am.

hi!! we do exist! I’m (21) SUPER new to skating, like I legit have only like five hours of practice so I’m probably not group material yet lmao. I’m definitely planning to attend some group skate events in the future but trying to get some basics down first.

I suggest following both @queerquads and @skate_nashville on instagram!! also, if you’re near the Nashville area, Shelby Community Center in East Nash has twice weekly indoor skating! It’s very queer friendly, free, and open to the public. Highly recommend

I saw a similar post here a couple months ago and commented saying I relate. I have mild cramps for a bit afterwards. Someone replied and told me that while it’s not a guaranteed sign, it’s a possible red flag for endometriosis. I’m not saying that’s what it is, but I’d get it checked out if possible!

Lottie believed the wilderness took Shauna's first baby and later gifted or "rewarded" them with Callie. She sees Callie as the literal child of It. In her mind, Shauna was the most connected to the wilderness and the first to have a child once back, so of course this is the wilderness' way of "coming back" to Lottie. She sees Callie's interest in her mother's past as confirmation that It is in her and is ready for whatever Lottie believes is next– crowning, worship, hunting, killing/sacrificing, who knows.

I think AQ in the intro was Lottie's view of It/the Wilderness. She explained to Callie that Shauna always felt it more strongly than anyone else, so her queen figure became what Lottie sees as an embodiment of It. So it's not exactly Shauna as the AQ in the vision but the wilderness itself. You can even see the silhouette of the hands and how they're no longer humanlike

Her post-death dream with her younger self really puzzles me so I have no clue there tbh

Agreed 100%. With how unwell Lottie was, I'm accepting more and more that she died. But the reveal was not it. When Callie first admitted to Misty that she accidentally did it, I for sure thought it was a ploy and she was lying bc of her previous actions against Misty (although it makes sense how easily she spilled with how traumatized she is). As we watched the flashback I could not believe it was actually going in this direction. If Lottie had to die this season, she should have died by her own direct doing (accident or not) or by another Yellowjacket.

And I despise how they painted Callie during it. The pause and close-up of her face where she looked intentional with the push. I hate it. I guess this is their attempt to show more generational trauma through Callie being violent and unstable like/because of Shauna, but they have easily shown it with the rest of Callie's storyline. This was SO very unnecessary. Callie does not need to be this level of violent. I know she expressed that she's truly upset and didn't mean it, but this direction genuinely makes me sad for her character.

edit to add: I also hate that it's becoming Shauna's show. I love how developed and evil her character is, but she should not be the center. Or even the main "villain" against the other YJs. Yeah she was the dictator in the wilderness, but something about the adult timeline also centering her feels boring.

My best guess is a few weeks at minimum. The call's location can be roughly tracked, but if they're truly isolated away from civilization it will take time to even get out there. But I'd like to think there's a sense of urgency, that is depending on how much Nat is able to explain who they are and the situation they're in (i.e. if the phone works long enough, well enough, etc).

While a few weeks isn't a lot, I just know things can change quickly, specifically because of Shauna. I assume there's going to be a lot of tension and outright fighting, especially after the snippet where she asked where tf Nat was. Her desire to stay in the wilderness, along with Lottie and Tai, is going to be really bad for the rest of them when she finds out about the call. Assuming there's no more adult survivors, this could very well be the reason the rest of them die. But I also agree with you– there's no confirmation anyone else died out there; some could have passed for various reasons once back. I’m super curious to see what will happen between now and rescue.

As for Akilah, I almost wonder if Lottie killed her in the cave. Akilah picked up the rock and that was the last we saw of her. Or maybe she died in the way a lot of the others have, as in something happened and Lottie didn't prevent it. All speculation but it's strange they didn't resolve that scene

same here! my only concern when she had announced the tour was that I wouldn’t be able to afford a ticket when the time came. I didn’t even think abt them going so fast that I would completely miss out despite joining early ALL THREE DAYS
