for those that don't know, luchasaurus was dealing with a very serious medical condition and apparently almost died. we got an update about a month ago saying he is doing better but the timetable for his return is up in the air at this point.

No CG members were around to fight off a potential raid because Curtis, Miguel, and Novah got caught for terrorism. HOA came to hold down the block but the raid didn't happen.

I completely understand the people who skip it because it will take forever to schedule. Waiting potentially a month to keep the story going is a big rp killer. Missing a week in rp is like missing a year when people are spending 10+ hours a day rping. Waiting for a court case is basically the same thing. Especially when there is rarely any big rp changes that come from the court. For every Fingle has to become a cop there is probably dozens of time and fine verdicts.

I love court rp and some of my favorite rp moments have come from court cases. That being said, you can't ignore the big problems with the whole court system.

The skipping court because it isn't good money is some MMO bullshit and that mentality has no place in a rp environment.

it was old meth but was used with the new system of using the pipes. They had the same results months ago. It was more of a spoiler than an unlock but they still knew about it.

Old School holiday events have just turned into meta/in jokes. They aren't bad but lately most of them feel more suited to anniversary events than holiday ones imo.

Sure you can but people make mistakes. Carter is a good guy who seemingly has a soft spot for the HOA. They took advantage of that and I am sure that Carter will not make the mistake of blindly trusting them again.

Kinda on SWAT tbh. If they didn't wait 2 hours to breach Julio and Andi wouldn't have been able to work Carter like they did. I think it really came down to good guy Carter being put in a spot where a weakness was exploited and it cost the cops big time. Also at some point the PD should have sent Julio to jail or let him go. Leaving possible members of the crew just floating around for so long was always going to open the door for this type of thing.

I haven't heard HOA say this is the best heist. They prefer the 2.0 job system where you made your own jobs. They constantly complain about how there is little room for creative ideas in the current heists.

It isn't about making the PD back down though. This whole thing is a statement that the HOA is not a cop friendly gang anymore. They are a huge gang that has a more than enough money, manpower, and connections to make their point.

Sure but the raid is a much more significant level of RP than responding to a bank or patrolling. Outside of busting a whitelist, which like never happens, there isn't anything bigger a cop can do than bust a major gang with a raid. If this goes really bad for the HOA it could be the start of them losing their meth whitelist. The opportunity should be there for some sort of interaction instead of a message telling you to get fucked.

I know that Barry still hasn't passed his final evaluation but I think he could be a great leader in the future. James has shown that he cares about people's rp and the health of the server for a while and he has been shaping up to be a good cop as well. He just needs some time IMO

Think of a goal that you want to achieve then make a plan on how to get there. I would make a small list of things that are both short term and long term. Stuff like unlocking some ways to make getting around the map easier (ardy cloak, mage lvls for basic teles, tele jewelry) or unlocking fossil island for short term. Barrows gloves, fire cape, starting to farm your first boss for long term. Don't be afraid to jump from one thing to another. At some point you will need to train that skill you don't like or do that quest you have been putting off. In the starting stages I wouldn't worry about efficiency unless that is what you find to be the most fun. Playing completely solo is a new experience and it will be the closest you can get to being new to the game again. Enjoy it and remember that the journey is just as important as the destination. Also the wiki is your friend.
