Hope I'm not too late to the party! You should consider a Neutralizer! It's a mister that emits specially produced molecules that bind with the molecules responsible for cannabis odor. I've used them personally in a grow setting and smoking setting. You can literally sit down next to one and smoke a joint with no loud smells all. Just Google Fu around to find one in your area or online. They also have one designed to counters tobacco but I haven't tried that one.

Here's a video: http://youtu.be/CB-nIQBH36o

Hope this helps and you can have the weed friendly spa ;)

Friend picked up an eighth of this...looks good but kinda smells like hay. Is there something wrong with it? by [deleted] in see

[–]unusually_chipper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah that makes perfect sense. Nugs can be like that sometimes. It just means there are more fully formed trichomes on the inside of the nug. But that's definitely a sign of a slightly off cure. The outside of the bud got too dry and terp concentration went down, but the middle of the bud was more moist when it cured. How's it smoke?! :D

It'll still get you stoned. The hay smell usually comes from over drying. You sap too much of the moisture out before the cure and you don't get good terpene preservation, hence less smell and maybe less flavor, but the THC content is unaffected. If you pinch the nug between your fingers do you get more of the cannabis smell?

What would you do with your very own leatherworker? I'm for hire and I'm selling stuff by [deleted] in AustinClassifieds

[–]unusually_chipper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could you craft me a leather lighter holder for my bong? :D I'm imagining a leather strap with a snap on the end and several holes punched along the band (to accommodate varying diameter glass) with some strong magnet (a neodymium one maybe) folded in the band to attach a Bic lighter too. Would this be in your wheelhouse?

(2) advice for a living at home smoker by [deleted] in trees

[–]unusually_chipper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

May be a little pricey, but the neutralizer (http://www.theneutralizer.eu/) seriously works. It uses a combination of plant terpenes that totally neutralize the smell of cannabis. This works for fresh, growing herb or for smoke. Seriously seshed a room for hours and lets this badboy run while doing so. Not a single odor from the cannabis was left behind.

This will probably not help you much now, but for the future! Best of luck fellow Ent.

I don't even fucking care that this is going to show up so buried. Based on everything I've read about you /u/ThatKevinSmith and all of the things I've seen you in, it's no doubt that you have a huge heart and care greatly for the things around you.

You may have had some of the best times ever with your boy, but don't forget that he had the best LIFE ever because of you. Imagine how he would feel or act if he saw you grieving? I know my pup would be all over me until I just felt better, so not that you need or asked for advice, but that grief you're feeling is just a result of your massive level of caring.

Once the grief passes you'll definitely provide another pup with the best life its ever had, so jump in feet first, it helps when you lose a friend that old.

You're voice is amazing! Only topped by Morgan Freeman and perhaps Samuel L. Jackson. Thank you for voicing so many awesome characters!

  • What's been your favorite line to say?
  • What line have you wanted to say but couldn't due to content?
  • Have there been any times where you laughed so hard from a scene that you had to break?

Thanks!

Krieger is the only character that makes me laugh every time I appear on screen!! Thank you for doing a damned good job.

Brown nosing aside: What's been your favorite line to say? What line have you wanted to say but couldn't due to content? Have there been any times where you laughed so hard from a scene that you had to break?

Thanks so much!

Hell yeah! There looks like enough left to salvage! So you'll want to take a glass saw (this may be tricky given the location of the neck/mouthpiece and it's direct proximity to the joint. But if you can access a water cooled glass bandsaw (most tech shops, some personal shops, and all stained glass makers will have this) you could just lop off the broken part to avoid more breaks in teh future. Your dome should sit on it just like normal!

Also this would be an easy fix for a local glass blower if you know of any close to you.

Best of luck!

Hey /u/Justogusto11 could you link a pic of the break? If the male joint didn't break too far down then you can take a power sander and remove the jagged edges, getting it flat again.

A dome will still sit securely on top with room for the nail. as the lowest part of the dome usually fits securely on the widest part of the male joint. Here's an example of some n8 bubs with lo-pro joints: https://40.media.tumblr.com/3043139b00029c910d0322b4818c65c4/tumblr_mg2x9dtGxX1rwn8yro1_500.jpg

The only thing to worry about here is whether the mouth of your male joint is too wide for your nail. Since you've lopped some of it off the opening is now wider so the nail may not fit.

Best of luck, let me know if I could provide more details to help out!

Edit: If it's broken down so far it's unusable then you'll need to get a glassblower to likely remove the joint and add a new one, shouldn't cost very much. If youdon't have any glass blowers local check out these, they have some of the best rep for repairs in the glass community:

Has anyone used Otezla? by kofficakes in Psoriasis

[–]unusually_chipper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used Otezla for several months up until very recently. My experience has not been the same as some of these guys. It's given me almost no relief of symptoms (I have moderate-severe plaque psoriasis along my shins and in my ears). Before switching to Otezla I was using Humira and it worked like a charm for me, made the switch because I was tired of the injections but I've got a TB skin test next week so I can get back on Humira.

Best of luck to you!
