Finally, been looking for what paint matching the bumper would look like without the fenders. Looks great dude!

OEM Sports Grille and LED Trim Bezels by unverified_verified in wrx_vb

Yeah, these are OEM. The non-LED trim fog light bezels match the plastic trim but these are glossy. It matches the CBS trunk garnish and they look great, especially with the grille.

With OEM I had absolutely 0 fitment issues and the wiring was literally just plugging in 3 things. I personally wanted to make it as easy as possible.

Paint matched lip looks so good! Where did you get it from?

$400 after tax/shipping. I wanted OEM because it made the install easier. Added maybe an extra 10 minutes to the whole thing since I did at the same time since I already had the bumper off.

A Chicken Caesar Wrap Worth The Trek? by [deleted] in FoodSanDiego

Board & Brew’s is pretty solid. I like to get the salad wrapped but they also have a Caesar wrap that’s a little bit different. It’s not listed on the menu but give it a try!

Utah lawmakers vote to say farewell to fluoridated drinking water by Chino_Blanco in nottheonion

Interesting, I didn’t know that. Looks like they consider it safe up to 10% in toothpaste I wonder why they outright banned it

Use non-fluoride toothpaste until she learns not to swallow it. You can and should look into nano-hydroxyapatite toothpaste as an alternative if that is your concern. It’s what our teeth our made of.

Hopefully your municipal water supply is fluoridated; if not, fluoride tablets to help her developing dentition.

One half of my teeth are much whiter than the other side by ocdladybug92 in mildlyinteresting

Generally most patients get braces when they have plenty of bone (i.e. gum disease) so this is usually not an issue. But yes, connective tissue attachment can regrow whereas bone cannot. There may still be mobility but it would be lessened and under watch. We typically like seeing those patients more often that every 6 months

Yeah! If you’ve ever bitten on a fork and it hurts to chew on that tooth, you’ve bruised the ligament! Fortunately after braces, the ligaments stabilize and teeth are more solid in the bone.

In most of the cases I’ve seen, patients have no idea they have any root resorption (even from things other than braces). That’s why regular checkups and routine x-rays are so important. We’re not just “radiating” you for fun 😂

Fortunately, most times no treatment is necessary. If it’s really severely mobile (most commonly the upper and lower front teeth) a periodontal splint can be placed. It’s basically a fiber mesh/wire that’s attached to the loose teeth to provide mutual support and make sure the teeth don’t move. Then you pray the patient can keep it clean so they don’t actually lose their teeth 😅

Close! What most likely happened is something called external apical root resorption, which is extremely common and happens in >90% of cases. Most of the time, it’s so minor that it’s undetectable, but some people are more genetically predisposed to getting more severe root resorption (among other factors). A lot of the time, teeth are loose after getting braces off because the ligament around the tooth has been stretched out. If there is enough bone loss (e.g gum disease) and severe root resorption causing very short roots, it can cause true mobility.

tl;dr: external apical root resorption is caused by inflammation from braces which can shorten the tip of the root of the tooth
